March 8, 2015 Third Sunday in Lent Vision: Beautiful Savior is a family of Christ-centered disciples joyfully sharing the Gospel within our community in a loving, nurturing way. Mission: By God s grace, we follow His command to make disciples of all nations. We faithfully prepare ourselves, through regular worship, daily devotions, and in-depth Bible study, to share the Word with those around us. Confession of Sins; Forgiveness; Encouragement: Pastor: Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. People: I will say to the Lord: You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Pastor: He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. People: He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge. (from Psalm 91) Pastor: Therefore, People of God, turn to the Lord your God, who is slow to anger and full of love. People: We will flee to Him alone, for He has promised to save us and give us His salvation. Pastor: Invite the Lord to inhabit the recesses of your heart; ask Him to have His way with you. People: Hear my prayer, Lord, and cleanse me of all that offends You. Pastor: May the peace of the Lord be with you always. People: And also with you. (We share a word of encouragement with each other.) However, we recognize there will be times when toddlers become restless, and disturbing to others. Therefore, a room especially designed for such times is available for your use in the back of the sanctuary. There are sound speakers and window in the room so you can hear, as well as see the worship service. Attendance Last Week Worship 88 Sunday School 32 Dear Visitors, o We rejoice that you are worshiping our Lord with us today. You are invited to join us in fellowship after the Worship Service, in the lower level. Please sign our Guest Book in the narthex, and come and worship our Lord with us again. o Our congregation administers recurring monetary offerings a little differently than most churches. It has been our custom for many years to not pass a basket during the offertory portion of the worship service. Instead, a wooden box is located at the rear of the sanctuary for the giving of monetary offerings.
