March 8, 2015 Third Sunday in Lent Vision: Beautiful Savior is a family of Christ-centered disciples joyfully sharing the Gospel within our community in a loving, nurturing way. Mission: By God s grace, we follow His command to make disciples of all nations. We faithfully prepare ourselves, through regular worship, daily devotions, and in-depth Bible study, to share the Word with those around us. Greetings and Announcements Invocation The Order of Service Opening Song - 10,000 Reasons CCLI # 6016351 Chorus 1 Bless the Lord O my soul O my soul Worship His holy name Sing like never before O my soul I'll worship Your holy name Verse 1 The sun comes up it's a new day dawning It's time to sing Your song again Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me Let me be singing when the evening comes Verse 2 You're rich in love and You're slow to anger Your name is great and Your heart is kind For all Your goodness I will keep on singing Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find Verse 3 And on that day when my strength is failing The end draws near and my time has come Still my soul will sing Your praise unending Ten thousand years and then forevermore Misc 1 (Ending) Worship Your holy name Lord I'll worship Your holy name

Confession of Sins; Forgiveness; Encouragement: Pastor: Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. People: I will say to the Lord: You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Pastor: He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. People: He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge. (from Psalm 91) Pastor: Therefore, People of God, turn to the Lord your God, who is slow to anger and full of love. People: We will flee to Him alone, for He has promised to save us and give us His salvation. Pastor: Invite the Lord to inhabit the recesses of your heart; ask Him to have His way with you. People: Hear my prayer, Lord, and cleanse me of all that offends You. Pastor: May the peace of the Lord be with you always. People: And also with you. (We share a word of encouragement with each other.) Songs of Adoration and Praise - Above All CCLI # 2672885 Above all powers above all kings Above all nature and all created things Above all wisdom and all the ways of man You were here before the world began Above all kingdoms above all thrones Above all wonders the world has ever known Above all wealth and treasures of the earth There's no way to measure What You're worth (CHORUS) Crucified laid behind the stone You lived to die rejected and alone Like a rose trampled on the ground You took the fall and thought of me Above all I'm Forever Gratefull CCLI # 24047 Chorus 1 And I'm forever grateful to You I'm forever grateful For the cross I'm forever grateful to You That You came To seek and save the lost

However, we recognize there will be times when toddlers become restless, and disturbing to others. Therefore, a room especially designed for such times is available for your use in the back of the sanctuary. There are sound speakers and window in the room so you can hear, as well as see the worship service. Attendance Last Week Worship 88 Sunday School 32 Dear Visitors, o We rejoice that you are worshiping our Lord with us today. You are invited to join us in fellowship after the Worship Service, in the lower level. Please sign our Guest Book in the narthex, and come and worship our Lord with us again. o Our congregation administers recurring monetary offerings a little differently than most churches. It has been our custom for many years to not pass a basket during the offertory portion of the worship service. Instead, a wooden box is located at the rear of the sanctuary for the giving of monetary offerings. Ministry News Voters Assembly Meeting, Sunday March 15 All are encouraged to attend the Voters Assembly Meeting on March 15, immediately following Sunday School. The Voters Assembly will vote on

whether to accept the Call Committee s unanimous decision to hire their recommended candidate for the Pastor vacancy. Fellowship Ministry Congratulations to Suzanne Kaluzinski on her unprecedented threepeat championship for the Annual Chili Cook-Off! Altar Guild Ministry Easter Flowers Donations Welcomed: The Altar Guild needs your help to offset decoration costs for the Chancel on Easter Sunday. Special envelopes are on the round table in the Narthex. Please fill out an envelope and put it in the offering box on Sunday. If you do not see the envelopes, any envelope will work. Please indicate whether you want to purchase a tulip or lily, and how many you would like to purchase. Each plant is $10. Also, if you would like to purchase this flower in memory or honor of a loved-one, or in celebration of something please add that information on the envelope as well. Worship Ministry o Midweek Lenten services continue each Wednesday at 7pm until Holy Week. The sermon theme for these services is the seven last words of Christ. Come early and o join in the pre-service fellowship meal starting at 6pm. During Holy Week, Maundy Thursday will be celebrated through a messianic Seder meal; and Good Friday will be observed with a service the following evening. There will be no Wednesday service during Holy Week. Vine and Branches Wall - The Vine and Branches committee would like to have your family, or single picture adorn our 'photo wall'.
