Kingdom Place Ministries The Kingdom Lifestyle Apostle Marcus L. Dunn, Sr. JOY...JOY...JOY, DOWN IN MY SOUL! The Oil of Joy! Have you ever met someone who is always happy? Their disposition is always positive? No matter what s going on in their life, they are always joyful! In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul speaks about joy and about the Christian s duty to rejoice over and over again. For example, he writes, Rejoice in the Lord always. This is one of those biblical imperatives, and it leaves no room for not rejoicing, for Paul says Christians are to rejoice always not sometimes, periodically, or occasionally. He then adds, Again I will say, Rejoice. Paul wrote this epistle from prison, and in it he addresses very somber matters, such as the possibility that he will be martyred, poured out as a sacrifice. Yet he tells the Philippian believers that they should rejoice despite his circumstances. That brings us back to this matter of how we can be joyful as a matter of discipline or of the will. How is it possible to remain joyful all the time? Paul gives us the key: Rejoice in the Lord always. The key to the Christian s joy is its source, which is the Lord. If Christ is in me and I am in Him, that relationship is not a sometimes experience. The Christian is always in the Lord and the Lord is always in the Christian, and that is always a reason for joy. Even if the Christian cannot rejoice in his circumstances, if he finds himself passing through pain, sorrow, or grief, he still can rejoice in Christ. We rejoice in the Lord, and since He never leaves us or forsakes us, we can rejoice always. This excerpt is taken from the free ebook Can I Have Joy in My Life? by R.C. Sproul. 1
NO DOUBT No one could have told me my life would take a dramatic turn in such a short period of time! Back in October 2016, myself and 4 other children were in a serious car accident. But God! No one could have told me in a million years that I would be diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2016. I felt like my life had been turned upside down and inside out! Here I am, just recovering from a car accident, to having surgery in January 2017 for breast cancer. No one could have told me that I had to do chemo, then onto radiation, but it had to be done. The enemy was attacking me from all sides. I was becoming angry, depressed, upset and hurt. My faith was wavering and doubt begin to set in. I ask myself, why me Lord? He said, "Why not you Terri?" "Have you not considered my servant Job?" Sometimes God allows us to go thru things to get our attention! This is not meant to destroy us, but to make us strong! How can we be a witness to someone else, if we haven't experienced trials and tribulations in our own lives. We may not go thru the same things, but we all have testimonies that can be used for the Kingdom of God! He wants us to be a Light in dark places!! So, let's do our part and bring in lost souls and set the captives free! Remember, someone did it for us!! When I look back over my life and what I've been thru over these last 8 mos., there should be "NO DOUBT"!! Luke 4:18 Jeremiah 29: 11-13, 32:17 Job 1:8 Ps. 27: 13-14, 23:4 Sister Terri Meadows 2

The Vision of KPM The vision for KPM is to empower the people with the Word of God. We the people of KPM will minister to the poor, sick, and free those who are in bondage to sins. KPM s vision is to bring sight to those who are blinded by the tricks of the enemy and set at liberty those that are bruised. Luke 4:18 states, The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, because He has anointed us, to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent us to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are bruised. The vision of KPM is that the expansion of the building will never outgrow the growth of God s people in the building. Agape, Apostle Marcus L. Dunn, Sr. & Lady Pamela Dunn 10
