~Week 3~ January 19 FOCUS - Praying for Leadership 2 Thess. 3:1-3 Finally brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly (have free course) and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Pray that leadership continues to be faithful to the Lord and to His church. Pray that leadership seeks God s direction in their lives and the church. Pray that they seek time to study the Word and pray according to Acts 6:4. Pray according to Pro. 3:5-7 that pastors and leaders trust in Him with all their heart; and not lean on their own understanding. In everything and in all their ways, may they acknowledge Him. God then promises to direct their paths. January 20 FOCUS - Pray for Ministries (within New Birth and other regional churches) Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Father, join us together as one body! Bind EVERY obstacle, hindrance and obstruction to unity in the CHURCH in the mighty name of JESUS! January 22 FOCUS - Pray for Forgiveness for the Five-fold Ministry - Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: For following own agendas, hidden agendas, mammon For not flowing in the Spirit of Unity For allowing flesh to operate in the church January 23 FOCUS - Cry for Release of the Spirit of Unity in the Body (Church), in the World! Psalms 133:1 Oh how good and pleasing it is for brothers to live together in harmony. Declare that the CHURCH WILL WALK, FUNCTION, OPERATE and LIVE in UNITY! Declare that in Unity God Commands a blessing! (Ps. 133:3) Declare that the Father and the Church are ONE! Jesus prayed That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Our Lord asked His Father that His churches would live and work in unity. (John 17:21) Declare that the CHURCH will bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. (Eph. 1:10) Release gentleness to one another and forgiveness for one another; if anyone has done wrong to his brother, even as the Lord had forgiveness for you: And more than all, have love; the only way in which you may be completely joined together. (Colossians 3:13-14) Dismantle, annihilate and tear down every WALL of DIVISION! Tear down denominational walls that prevent people from living together in unity! Tear down prejudicial, cultural, socio-economical and racial walls! Uproot and annihilate ancient powers of religious walls; pull down the strongholds!
Disband ancient practices that challenge unity in the church! January 24 FOCUS - Increased Prayer Awareness of Prayer within the Church - Father Raise Up YOUR Church! Isaiah 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. Declare that God s HOUSE IS A HOUSE OF PRAYER! My House is a house of Prayer! (Matt. 21:13; John 2:14) Father increase our TERRITORY of Prayer! Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request. (1 Chron. 4:10) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (Matt. 7:20) Pray that the CHURCH will LIVE in a perpetual cycle of supernatural provision (2 Cor. 9:10-12) Declare Nothing Missing, Nothing Lacking, Nothing Broken, in Jesus Name! Pray that the Church (the Body of Christ) will LIVE BY, and FEAST on the LIVING WORD of GOD! (Luke 4:4) Pray that the hearts of the people will be quickened to FAST AND PRAY! Pray that a new level of HOLINESS TO BE SUSTAINED on the WORD will PREVAIL in the CHURCH! Pray that the people WALK in the FULL Knowledge of God, (John 10:15, 8:28, 38; John 5:19-20) Release and activate the FULLNESS of the POWER of GOD in the church (body of CHRIST) and in the land through prayer! Call forth a people who will KNOW THEIR GOD, and WILL OBEY, and DO MIGHTY EXPLOITS for the KINGDOM!
January 25 FOCUS Coming against all Negativity, the Building (Edifying) of Others, and Doing Random Acts of Kindness to Bless Others! As our time of prayer and fasting comes to an end, we close with our focus on the Word of God to change our negativity, how to build up one another and to be led by the Spirit to touch a life with kindness. We must cease our negative attitude! Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful words of darkness, but rather reprove (them). Matt. 12:36, 37 But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matt. 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Declare you are vertically and horizontally lined up with the will of God. Declare the blood of the everlasting covenant of Jesus covers you. Declare you are standing on the foundation of Christ. Declare you are under the divine alignment of the heavenlies. Let the fire of God purge your tongue from speaking negative words. Lying, exaggeration,cursing, nagging, murmuring Ask Him to repair all damages done to your life as a result of the wrong use of your tongue. FOCUS Building Up of One Another Thank Him for divine alignment in the Spirit! Eph. 4:29 (EXB) Don t say anything that will hurt others [let any rotten/unhealthy word come from your mouth], but only say what is helpful [good] to make others stronger [build others up] and meet [according to] their needs. Then what you say will do good [give grace; be a gift] to those who listen to you. I Thess. 5: 9-11 (MSG) God didn t set us up for an angry rejection but for salvation by our Master, Jesus Christ. He died for us, a death that triggered life. Whether we re awake with the living or asleep with the dead, we re alive with him! So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you re already doing this; just keep on doing it.
Pro. 15:1 ESV A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Eph. 4:29 ESV Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ask the Lord to make your voice the voice of deliverance, healing, power, solution and life. Ask the Lord to help you produce good towards others. Ask the Lord to help you walk in forgiveness. Ask God to create a clean heart in you and renew a right spirit within you. FOCUS Acts of Kindness Luke 6:35-38 (ESV) 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. 37 Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; 38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Galatians 6:10 (ESV) 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. PRAYER POINTS Ask the Lord to help you be good ground to bring forth good fruit so that others may be blessed. Ask Him to make you to find favor, compassion, and loving kindness with others. Ask the Lord to show you how to do kind things to bless others. PURSUE PURPOSE UNLEASH POTENTIAL RELEASE POWER
