EBC 2017 Fall Ministry Guide Adult Studies: - Contact Kyle Scammon for more information. 227-1464 or kyle.scammon@dickinsonebc.com Sunday morning Adult Studies: Adult Sunday School Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the new building, room 208 Led by Armando Nunez, Jr. He will continue study of the Gospel of John Spanish Speaking Church Service Sunday mornings at 9 am Led by Armando Nunez, Sr. Old building second floor, right side Adult studies during the week: Contact Kyle Scammon for more information. 227-1464 or kyle.scammon@dickinsonebc.com Old Testament Survey Led by Pastor Tim Meets in the Computer Lab Wednesdays at 6:30 pm beginning September 6 The Old Testament is often neglected in our study of the Bible. The OT documents creation, in eternity past, to the time of Malachi, approximately 400 BC; there are thirty-nine books in our English Bible that cover this time period. The first class I took in pursuit of my biblical studies degree was entitled Old Testament Survey. I found this class to be one of the most comprehensive and enlightening classes I took. Thus, I would like to invite you to come and explore the Old Testament with me on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Last year we covered Genesis through Joshua. We will start this fall in the book of Judges. Our class will be meeting in the Computer Lab. Pastor Tim Young Adult Ministries (a.k.a. College and Career) Led by a group of established couples from EBC Meets in leaders homes or at EBC Sundays at 4 pm Beginning September 10 Not sure where you fit in? Not quite ready for the adult studies in marriage and raising children, but graduated from youth group? We have just the thing! Our weekly home groups rotate between four established EBC families. We start with some fellowship, then time in the Bible, followed by supper, and more fellowship. We partner with DSU Pacesetters in an effort to increase our opportunities to minister to college students. You can find the latest information on the DSU Pacesetters Facebook page or by emailing Pastor Ron at pastor.ron@dickinsonebc.com.

Women s Studies: - Contact Liza Ficek at 701-290-0551 or lizaficek@gmail.com for more information. Steadfast - Lauren Chandler Monday afternoons Led by Courtney Williams, 701-690-7235 Location: Maria Hammond's Home Start Date: September 11, 1-3 pm No childcare provided There are times when worship overflows effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. And there are times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing to offer. Throughout it all, God shows us His steadfast love. Psalm 107 is a call to worship. It reminds us that each season of life is an opportunity to reveal the anchor of our souls. In this 7-session Bible study, learn to face both storms and deserts with courage and trust in Jesus, and discover how tests in our journeys of faith reveal the true condition of our hearts. For there is no fear for the one who fears the Lord, the one whose soul is anchored in His steadfast love. Finding I Am - Lysa TerKeurst Monday evenings Led by Stacey Mendro, 701-570-4443 Location: EBC, Room 208 Start Date: September 11, 7-8:30 pm Childcare provided ages 0-3 years What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it. Join Lysa TerKeurst on the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Through this interactive, in-depth 6 week study we will be trading feelings of emptiness and depletion for the fullness of knowing who Jesus is like never before.
