Commentary Father, Your will be done on Earth as it is done in hashamayim (Heaven). In Yeshua s day the Crescent Moon was used in determining the beginning of the month. Yeshua, likewise, kept His Pesach on the 14 th day of the Crescent/sliver as is verifiable with astronomical software. When the Sanhedrin was disbanded, Hillel wanted to find a way that Israel, now in the dispersion, could observe the appointed times in unison in the absence of the Sanhedrin which was no longer available to confirm the sighting of the New Moon crescent/sliver in the Land. Likewise, to predict in advance when the sliver of the New Moon would appear was an impossibility, so Hillel, acting on his own authority, and contrary to Scripture, elected to determine the Moon dates based on the conjunction, which can be mathematically calculated, rather than on the sliver, which cannot be mathematically calculated. Hillel knew the conjunction was not the Scriptural way to calculate the New Moons, and because of this, it took many centuries for Jewry around the world to accept it as a common alternative calendar. Additionally, when the Sanhedrin is reconvened, it is the observation of the sliver that they will resort back to. However, neither Hillel nor the Sanhedrin have Scriptural authority to add or take from the Torah. Nobody does. Likewise, Jerusalem is the time clock of hashamayim, and those living in the land today proclaim by telephone and internet when the New Crescent/sliver Moon has been sighted so that we can once again do it as it is done in hashamayim. It is a matter of unintentional sin to observe the sliver outside the land wherever we live at in the dispersion due to an inability to know when the sliver occurred in Israel; but it is a matter of willful violation of Torah to change the calendar over from the sliver to conjunction for mathematical convenience and false unity. The result today is much confusion resulting from an abundance of different calendars being introduced by those who do not know the Scriptures, or their history, and who prefer to follow after manmade traditions rather than by the holy commands of Yah wah contrary to the Master Yeshua s words when He said, In vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the traditions of men, and again All too well you reject the commandment of Yah wah so that you may keep your tradition ; Mark 7:6-9. The word New Moon comes from the Hebrew word, Rosh Qodesh, Qodesh coming from the root word Qadaysh, which means to be bright, shiny and new, and is sometimes used to refer to a scimitar sword in Scripture, which just happens to also be crescent shaped; 2 Shemuel (2 Samuel) 21:16. 2

Additionally, Yeshua observed His Pesach on T-day night, which in turn was followed by His crucifixion taking place on W-day day, of the year 28 CE (AD); See Time Line 3. This year 28 CE is the only time the 14th day of the New Moon falls on this day of the week between the years 25 CE (AD) and 35 CE (AD). Modern, sophisticated astronomical software, likewise, indicates that the 1st day of this New Moon of Yeshua's Pesach was not a conjunction, but a sliver, See Time Line 10 for the astronomical info. See On Passover & the Resurrection for a detailed study on Yeshua s Pesach. There is a big push for everybody to be on the same page concerning the keeping of the Moedim, but this will never happen by following the calendars of men. If we are going to have Yah wah's blessing on this effort, like He provides when we keep Sabbath on the 7 th day of the week, rather than on some other day, it can only be by doing it at the same time as hashamayim does it. If we are out of sync with hashamayin, then not only are we being insincere when we pray Father, your will be done on Earth as in hashamayim, but we are also violating Torah, and following the traditions and dictates of man instead of the requirements of His holy Word, and are likewise cheating ourselves and everybody around us out of His blessing upon our efforts to unify. Consider the Sabbath which the Catholics changed from the 7 th day of the week to the 1 st day of the week. Could you imagine everybody refusing to do Sabbath on the appointed 7 th day, because for the sake of unity everybody wanted to continue doing it on the 1 st day of the week? But yet it is only the 7 th day of the week that hashamayim does it, and only the 7 th day that Yah wah has His special blessing upon it. It is the same with the appointed time of Pesach and Yom Teruach, which were both calculated based on the sighting of the sliver in Israel in Yeshua s day, and by no other method. As another example, there are many couples out there who are not equally yoked. One is a believer, and the other is not, or one is catholic, and the other Jewish, or whatever the case may be, and there is never complete unity. But me and my wife, I cannot even begin to count how many times we have had a disagreement that was settled by just simply going to the Scriptures and accepting Yah wah's judgment on the matter according to His word, rather than by compromising to my position or hers. It is acceptance and submission to His word, and to His word only, that brings the Unity. Nothing else. And so it is with the Moedim. If we continue to insist upon following the calendars and traditions of man instead of the calendar that Yeshua Himself followed and that all the hosts of hashamayim follow, we will never achieve the unity or acquire the blessing for obedience that we claim to so fervently desire. Thus the reason why the Torah and Testimony Ministry does all the commanded Moedim only according to the New Moons as sighted from Israel, beginning with the first New Moon sighted by 2 or 3 witnesses whose testimony agrees after the Aviv barley used for the First Fruits offering is first sighted in mass in Israel. This is also why Yom Teruach has become a two day celebration, because we know that if the crescent/sliver is not seen on the first potential day of visibility, then it will default to the next day where it would be clearly seen under clear skies. It my desire to see the 12 tribes come together for the Moedim on the same calendar at least one time before the Master Yeshua returns. I have provided the above calendar to help facilitate this cause so that we may be echad with Yah wah above and not with man below. To help in this effort, I have also supplied a modified cut from our Sabbaths of Yahuwah study to help people understand the difference between a Sabbath, a Shabaton, and a Mikra Qodesh. There are only 3 Appointed Times in Scripture referred to as Sabbaths, and they all fall in a pattern of 7, and are all prophetic of the Millennial Kingdom, the 7th millennium from Adam. 3

There are also 3 Shabatons that are not yoked to a Shabbat which all can fall at any time of the week outside of the pattern of 7; and then 3 Shabatons which are yoked to a Shabbat so that they fall in the pattern of 7 as a result to their connection with the Shabbat (which is higher in rank in solemnity) that they are yoked up with. The Sabbaths are: - The 7th day Sabbath occurring on the 7th day, - Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement/Day of Vengeance) occurring in the 7th Moon, and, - The Year of Rest for the land, occurring in the 7th year. The 7th day of rest is prophetic of the rest from physical labor and need for wage earning for those entering into the Millennial Kingdom through the first resurrection. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement/Day of Vengeance) is the day those of the first resurrection receive permanent rest from their enemies. The 7th year rest of the land is prophetic of the rest that the whole Earth will receive for 1000 years as it is restored to its former state of paradise. Here is a list of all the Appointed Times commanded to be observed. 3 are Sabbaths, 3 are Shabbatons, 3 are Shabbat Shabbatons, and 2 are neither a Shabbat, Shabbaton, nor Shabbat Shabaton.
