Hello, I am Safa and I would like to share my experience of my internship in Ahmedabad. During the summer of 2014, I had a GIP internship of 3 months. The internship was one of the greatest experiences I came to live. I found myself literally in the other side of the world, discovering a completely new universe, with a different language, a different culture and traditions than all I ever know. The truth is I completely and blindly fell in love with India. As simple as that, such a magnificent country, enchanting and magical in every way a country can be. It's diversity, It's hospitality and it's colors are really worth travelling across the world to experience. The internship with AIESEC allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. Professionally, it allowed me to work in a completely new environment, I learnt about Indian corporate culture. It was a fulfilling experience which added to my CV. Personally, I had the chance to meet extraordinary people from all over the world and to forge unexpected long lasting friendships. Ahmedabad AIESECers helped me a lot during my stay in India and were always there to check on me and to support me. They made sure that I was in the best possible conditions and that I enjoyed my stay in India I certainly will come back to India and Ahmedabad and see them all again. :) Hello, I am Diana Mateus and I took one of the most important decisions of my life when I joined AIESEC for my internship. I came to India one year ago to be a football soccer coach for children. I don't want to lie and say that everything has been perfect, no. But even then, my experience was more enriched and beautiful this time. I have made a lot of new friends from every part of the world interchanging thoughts, ideas, all of this to make me wiser. Every place that I have visited in Ahmedabad and in India were full of colors, aromas, senses, culture, and humble people. And food! God! The food is amazingly delicious and spicy. For me, coming from a plane food land, where nothing is seasoned within just salt and pepper, I have experienced the most incredible carnival of flavors.

Hello, everybody! My name is Sasha and I would like to tell you about my professional AIESEC internship My perfect internship was found in India. I wanted to have experience in marketing & sales at some FMCG production company. Finally, I arrived in Ahmedabad. Today I work at the factory of spices. There are more than 400 people at the factory. Nowadays, the company exports their goods in more than 30 countries, but not to Russia, what is one of the biggest markets in the world. So, this is my business challenge. It is very hard to start from zero, when you know nothing about market and major buyers, but the more interesting the challenge becomes! It is extremely interesting to work in international competition. If you choose India for the internship, be ready to some cultural shock. During my first week here I was very scared. But then I understood that most of the people in Ahmedabad are so warm and helpful. Just smile to them and they will always smile you back. Also I would like to thank the AIESEC local group, which was always near to help and support me in any work or personal issues. By now, I believe that AIESEC Ahmedabad is the best AIESEC local group that I ve ever met. Today I love Ahmedabad. I am sure that it is the best Indian city to choose for internship. First of all, it is extremely safe here. There is no crime at all. In second, it is a business capital of India India is amazing in cultural aspects. There are so many interesting places, cities, palaces and natural objects. There are so many different nationalities and languages. It is the country what you can discover for years and still there will be a lot of things left. And there is always warm and sunny as if nature helps you to be always positive.before I knew only that India is a big developing country somewhere near to China. Today I am sure that this country with over 1 billion of people, who are working so persistently and so hard in 10 years will be more developed than Europe and USA. So, don t be scared and better try! And maybe it will be the best adventure of your life ever!
