Evangelisation - Proclaim Westminster In Evangelii Gaudium, Pope Francis calls on all Catholics to be Missionary Disciples to carry on Jesus command to his Apostles to Go and make disciples of all nations. Westminster Diocese is responding to this call for evangelisation, through Proclaim Westminster, and the establishment of Parish Evangelisation Teams. Since the launch of Proclaim in 2015, parishes have been undertaking a range of initiatives in Prayer, Marriage & Family Life, Faith Formation, Social Action and Reaching Out, to make evangelisation bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ, a reality. Autumn 2017 Proclaim Workshops #1 - Initiatives & Resources The Proclaim Workshops this autumn will provide an opportunity for parish teams to share their successes and ideas, to learn about how Proclaim Westminster is being progressed, and to further develop local evangelisation strategies as they grow their Missionary Parish. We encourage each parish to be represented at one workshop, held in nine parish halls across the diocese, by members of their evangelisation team or those who could help form such a team in the parish, along with their parish priest. 4

Adult Faith Formation The Agency works to help parishes nurture the faith formation of adults, affording all an understanding of what the Church teaches and a vocabulary with which to explain their faith and reach out to others. We support adult faith formation by helping parishes develop their own pastoral plan and by organising talks and events around the diocese which parishes can tap into. There are many successful adult faith formation programmes to choose from. Each of them has something to offer and can play a valuable part in the development of a comprehensive parish plan. Listed below are a number of programmes and initiatives developed by the Agency for Evangelisation, and opportunities for formation for effective parish ministries. 'formation and enrichment of all members of the Church will enable 'the proclamation of Christ to reach people, mould communities, and have a deep and incisive influence in bringing Gospel values to bear in society and culture.'
