GLOBAL CONNEXTIONS We believe that it is safe to say that Global ConNEXTions was an absolute success! The Lord moved in a mighty way throughout the event. Our goal was to help people Discover, Prepare, and Go and we believe that many attendees are in the process of doing just that! Friday evening, October 21, we kicked off the main event, Global ConNEXTions. It was a full house with an estimated 520 in attendance! Brother Howell delivered an outstanding message, A Time for Silence and a Time for Noise. October 20-21 st we saw many of you make your way to AIM training, The Journey. We enjoyed informative sessions, impacting services, and strengthening fellowship! We laughed together, cried together, and dreamed together. We know that all that who attended were greatly impacted. We are looking forward to doing AIM training again soon, so if you did not make it to this one there is still hope! Saturday morning our attendees were welcomed with quite the entrance as they had to go through Security and Immigration. It was truly an interactive experience! That afternoon we held sessions to Discover, Prepare, and Go. We also had a Lunch Roulette set up with missionaries and a session called Prayer for the Nations. It was an awesome time where everyone was divided to pray for each region of the World. The whole event was wrapped up with Brother Matthew Johnson preaching Journey to Mount Moriah. As people made their way back home, we know that lives were transformed and callings confirmed. We look forward to seeing the fruit of this event in the years to come. I can't think of a single event in the history of Global Missions that has impacted so many to commit themselves to a time of service on the mission field. The planning, the preaching, the music, the teaching and the visuals were orchestrated so well by an outstanding team under the leadership of Brothers Howell and Poitras. I believe this will serve as a prototype for even greater future endeavors. GM has a bright future! -Brother L. Shalm, Regional Director to Asia
REGIONAL UPDATES The holidays are fast approaching and we know that means all our AIMers are looking forward to some very busy times! This quarter s edition will give brief testimonies to encourage you and to show you that God is moving in every region! Our team is so thankful for all the hard work each of you do. We pray this edition blesses you! As many North Americans, many of us could look on our shelves to find not only a Bible, but more than likely multiple Bibles. We have seen Bibles given as gifts, passed down through families, some marked as study Bibles, others designated as travel Bibles, and the list goes on. It is that sometimes unnoted and underappreciated blessing that makes the picture to the right so powerful. AIMer Brandi Young shares her experience of giving Bibles out in a village. What an incredible opportunity to witness one receiving their first Bible! AFRICA "We have had several opportunities to hand out Bibles to people in need thanks to the Sunday School Department at The Pentecostals of Bossier City. I never thought passing out Bibles would leave such a lasting impression. Those who were given Bibles had never before received one. Now, they were given one in their own language. I watched as these people treated it as a priceless treasure. Gently taking it from Brother Gibb's hands, walking a little slower than normal as they carried it back to their seat. Then, they would look at it with more joy than I had ever seen. I watched as they wept and hugged their new Bibles. They raised their hands in praises and thanked God for this new, priceless gift. I met several couples who even shared a small "New Testament" Bible, so worn that it was barely legible anymore. I then looked down at my own Bible and the way I think of it has changed forever. This thing is precious. This thing is priceless. There are people who are desperate for this Word. Don't take it for granted. -Brandi Young, Malawi
NEWLY APPROVED AIMERS /CHANGE OF FIELD Aaron Phelps, Burkina Faso Roy Well, Swaziland Zaccheaus Long, Botswana ASIA Doors are opening daily all over the world for new works to be started. We are so thankful for our AIMers who are working long days and nights to reach out to those around them. Every soul matters! One interaction with one person could change everything. "Brother Clevenger traveled to Hokkaido with Brother Doan and two other team members to connect with a Japanese family there. God has given an open door to Sapporo, a city with 2 million souls! This family will begin gathering together each week in a community center there. Praise the Lord! -Les & Laura Clevenger, Japan NEWLY APPROVED AIMERS/CHANGE OF FIELD Haleigh Hohman, Japan Elvis & Kimberly Buai, Myanmar CENTRAL AMERICA/CARIBBEAN Many of our AIMers have seen countless miracles, signs, and wonders all over the field that they have been called too. It is amazing to see blind eyes be opened, deaf ears unstopped, and the lame receive strength to walk, but what about our AIMers? Being a worker in the Kingdom does
not mean that you will be exempt from physical ailments, but thankfully the King knows how to intervene! Below, Brother Smith tells how his wife, Victoria, was healed as she prayed for others! Thank you for all your prayers! Some of you may have heard already, but during the last night of the Ohio District Family Camp this year Victoria was completely healed! They were having a healing service so we went down to pray with others for their healing and after the service Victoria came up to me and told me that she thought that she was healed. So we went over to the cafeteria area and got a bag of peanut M&Ms. Because if anything would trigger her food allergies it would be peanut M&Ms. After eating a few with no side effects we praised the Lord for her healing! A few days later we went back to the same doctor who did the first allergy test in April, and when he tested her again the report came back that she was not longer allergic to any of the things she was previously allergic to before! Not only did God heal her allergy's he also healed some other health issues she was having! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!! -The Smith s, Antigua NEWLY APPROVED AIMERS/CHANGE OF FIELD Jayne Taylor, Guatemala Rachel Goebel, Costa Rica EUROPE/MIDDLE EAST There is nothing more exciting than sharing God s Word with little ones! The Eastman siblings are currently on AIM in Ireland. In one of their reports, they shared of how they helped with a children s camp. We love how creative our AIMers can be! This summer, The Pentecostals of Dublin held it s first-ever Kids Camp. It was an incredible time of diving into God s Word and making lifelong memories. Our theme was Knights of The Kingdom. Through puppet shows, skits, games, crafts, and even science projects, we learned about putting on the whole Armor of God! The children s faces when they saw the castle for the first time was priceless! -Kayln Eastman, Ireland

PACIFIC We love hearing testimonies of our AIMers! Brother Dougherty shared this story with us a few months ago and we wanted to in turn share it with you. During our church service a lady fell out and went into seizures. Her eyelashes were blinking rapidly and her eyeballs turned up into her head. She appeared to be dying. Our church is located in a poor area up in the mountain with no police or hospital nearby nor any emergency response available. So I told everyone to pray and I laid my hand on her head and prayed. Within a few minutes she came to and was fine. She woke up saying "Jesus, Jesus. She even insisted on staying for the rest of the service. You might try telling me God is not real but I know better. When all you have is prayer and everything works out, you can be assured -God is REAL! The power of prayer is very much alive! We pray that this testimony encourages you as you continue to labor in the fields of harvest! SOUTH AMERICA Here is another testimony of how God is so intentionally weaving people together. We are excited to see the outcome of how God is going to affect this family in São Paulo! "During these past two months we continued making visits and having Bible studies with our dear friend Roselaine and her family on the east side of the huge metropolis of São Paulo. Another contact was also made through missionary Michael Walmer. A former member he had during his time in northern Brazil now lives in the city of Jundaí, a city about an hour's drive north of where we live. We went and made a home visit and are praying God will do His will in her life, drawing her closer to Him. -Aaron & Tiffany Anderson
