Louisiana Baptist Youth Encampment Circle of the Chosen Youth Ministry P. O. Box 52286, New Orleans, Louisiana 70152 Rev. Calvin W. Woods, Jr., Director (504) 606-4782 Email cwwoods@bellsouth.net/louisianabye.com June 1, 2017 Dear Youth Leaders, Officers, & Campers: Thank you for a job well done this year. Your pastor and church invested in you and now they are able to see the works of the Holy Spirit in your lives. This year our camp will be held in the wonderful city of New Orleans, Louisiana on the campus of Dillard University. Our theme for 2017 is Proclaiming God s Peace, Philippians 4:6-7 and our dates are July 23-27, 2017. We will have campers coming from New Orleans, Kenner, Marrero, LaPlace, Monroe, Shreveport, Leesville, Lake Charles, Shreveport, Opelousas, New Iberia, Houma, Baton Rouge, Baker, White Castle and other cities in order to experience the power of God. We will provide classes, breakout sessions, and other fun activities that will build up your youth and their directors. The registration fee is $170.00 dollars and that will cover your meals, housing, classes, and other expenses. Your campers will be able to participate in our drama, dance, mime, and choir presentations. We will use these areas of our competition such as Bible Knowledge, Precision Drill teams, Liturgical Dance, Mime, Poetry, Music (Vocals, Choirs, & Instrumentals), Puppets, Cheerleading, Skits, and Basketball to motivate your youth to minister in their local church and community. Our strategy after camp is to have one youth crusade in each region s area code. The 504 Youth Crusade, The 985 Youth Crusade, The 318 Youth Crusade, The 337 Youth Crusade and The 225 Youth Crusade. We hope and pray that you will be a part of these events. Our goal is to challenge you to reach the lost, equip the saints, support missions, support our convention, and strive to be role models in your local churches, schools, families, & communities. We are looking forward to seeing you at camp. Enclosed you will find the registration information for Youth Encampment. If you have any questions, please call us. Please submit your registration by July 1, 2017. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Rev. Calvin W. Woods, Jr., Louisiana Baptist Youth Encampment Director
