See the impressive remains of this "chariot city" from the the time of King Solomon, as well as the great water system, built by King Ahab. View Nazareth from one of its view points. Visit Mary s Well - the only source of water in ancient Nazareth. Visit Nazareth Village, based on solid New Testament scholarship and the most up-to-date archaeology, Nazareth Village brings to life a farm and Galilean village, recreating Nazareth as it was 2,000 years ago. Drive via Kana (Wedding Church). If time allows visit Sephoris, to get a glimpse at a Hellenistic town, where it is logically assumed that young Jesus spent some time. Drive to Tiberias on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Hotel Tiberias Day 3 Spend the whole day on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Start the day on Mount Beatitude to recall the Sermon on the Mount. Go down by foot (optional) to the shore enjoying the view and recalling some of Jesus' most famous parables, which were probably inspired by this surrounding. Visit Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of bread and fish. Continue to Capernaum to see the town, Jesus chose as his home. Visit the recently excavated site of Magdala where a 1st Century synagogue was discovered. Ride on a boat resembling those of ancient times. Day 4 Drive to (or just around it) Tel Hazor, to see the the largest ancient tel in Israel, located in the Upper Galilee, north of the Sea of Galilee, on the high ground overlooking what used to be Lake Merom. This city, mentioned in the Bible as the strongest among the Canaanites cities, was conquered by Joshuah. The fire remains can still be seen today. Continue to the beautiful Dan Nature Reserve to see one of the Jordan most important water source as well as the remains of the Israelite Temple and impressive Canaanite Gate, known as Abraham's Gate.
