Transit in Dubai. Upon arrival Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport proceed to immigration check and you will be met and greeted by local representative and proceed for photo stop and view of:- Arch de Triomphe - A symbol of the French nation, it links old and new Paris, standing on the highest point of the line running from the Louvre to the Grande Arche de la Défense. Champ Elysee is a fantastic street in France, and the city of Paris. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, Seine River Cruise - This famous river flows from east to west through the heart of the city and divides Paris's Left Bank and Right Bank. Eiffel Tower - The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, which was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution. Its construction in 2 years, 2 months and 5 days was a veritable technical and architectural achievement. Dinner and proceed to hotel for check in. Overnight.
04JUN (SUN) / DAY 02: PARIS Breakfast at hotel and proceed to sightseeing to visit: - St Vincent De Paul Church - The church dedicated to Saint Vincent de Paul is in the chapel of the Vincentian Fathers. Upon entering the Church, you ll notice the glass reliquary containing his body high above the main altar. It is an easy climb to the reliquary by a double stairway behind the altar, to venerate his relics. When his body was first exhumed it appeared to be incorrupt but later flooding damaged the area where his body was placed and the body did decay. What you will see here is his skeleton covered with wax giving him a very realistic appearance. His heart was taken and is now in the Chapel of the Daughters of Charity at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. Rue du Bac Chapel (also known as The Medal Chapel) containing the incorrupt Body of St Catherine Laboure and then around the corner to visit the chapel containing the incorrupt body of St.Vincent de Paul. MASS at Church. Notre Dame Cathedral - "Our Lady of Paris" is a beautiful cathedral on the the Île de la Cité in Paris. was one of the first Gothic cathedrals, and its construction spanned the Gothic period. Its sculptures and stained glass show the heavy influence of naturalism, unlike that of earlier Romanesque architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. Sacre Coeur Basilica of the Sacred Heart - It is located on the highest point of the city in Montmartre. The church was dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a cult that gained popularity after 1873, when the first pilgrimage was organized to Paray-le-Monial in Burgundy. It was there that revelations encouraging prayer to Christ's sacred heart had been reported in the 17th century. Shopping at Galeries Lafayatte Dinner Overnight. 05JUN (MON) / DAY 03: PARIS NEVERS Breakfast in the hotel and check out and transfer to Nevers. (245kms 3hrs 30mins) Visit Bernadette s Sanctuary Chapel & Holly Garden. Bernadette s Shrine - After taking the veil in 1867, St Bernadette lived for 12 years as a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Nevers. At least 3 times during her short lifetime, she received the last Sacraments. In addition to asthma, she was gradually struck by tuberculosis of the lung and a tubercular tumor in her right knee. She eventually died at the age of See St Bernadette s incorrupt body at the Convent of St Gildard, miraculously preserved since her death in 1879. MASS at Church. Proceed to visit The Shrine. In 1858, 14 year old Bernadette Soubirous declared that the Virgin Mary had appeared to her several times in the Cave of Massabielle and had said to her in the local patois, I am the Immaculate Conception. Cave of Massabielle is the site of St. Bernadette's visions of the Virgin Mary in 1858. The Blessed Virgin is said to have pointed out a previously undiscovered spring in the grotto and instructed Bernadette to drink from it. The BATH proceed for the miraculous Bath experience. 10JUN (SUN) / DAY 08: BURGOS AVILA - SALAMANCA Breakfast in the Hotel Check out and Continue to Avila (262 Km/3hrs). Upon arrival, start the tour. Avila - Hometown of St Theresa of Avila. One of the finest remnants of Europe s medieval era, the walled town of Avila was sacred to an ancient Celtiberian culture long before the arrival of the Romans and the Christians. 12JUN (TUE) / DAY 10: FATIMA VISIT OF THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY Breakfast at the hotel. After Mass, visit the Tombs of Francisco and Jacinto; the Alustrel where the children lived; and the Valinhos where Our Lady appeared after the children s return from prison. Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima is one of most famous Marian shrines in the world. Some four million people visit Fatima each year, drawn by apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by three local shepherd children in 1917. Tombs of Francisco & Jacinto- Her relics and those of Francisco lie in the Basilica at Fatima, with the simple inscription: Here lie the mortal remains of Francisco and Jacinta to whom Our Lady appeared. Jacinta and her brother Francisco were beatified, that is to say, declared Blessed, by Pope John Paul II on 13th May, 2000 at Fatima. Proceed for Evening Rosary and Candlelight procession. MASS with the participation of the Sick - Eucharistic procession in the square - Official opening of the Pilgrimage - International Rosary in the Chapel of the Apparitions, candlelight procession and concelebrating of the Holy Eucharist in the square. Check out and depart. En-route, visit Nazare home to a local devotion to the Blessed Mother. Black Madonna of Our Lady of Nazare. The Chapel of the Black Madonna of Our Lady of Nazare is dramatically set on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Short drive to Santarem and proceed sightseeing. Church of St Stephen, Santarem - is home to a 13th-century Eucharistic miracle. The shrine is among the most famous of its kind and is visited by thousands of pilgrims. The main attraction of the Church of the Holy Miracle is, of course, the Eucharistic Miracle of Santarem. The host is enshrined in its miraculous crystal pyx in a silver monstrance and placed on display atop a tabernacle. Short drive to Lisbon.
Transfer to hotel for check in Dinner and overnight in Lisbon. 14JUN (THU) / DAY 12: LISBON CITY FULL DAY Breakfast at hotel and proceed to sightseeing to visit: - Proceed to visit Santo Antonio Da Se, marking the site where St Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of Portugal was born in 1195. Followed by visit to the Cathedral housing the Saint s baptismal font. Santo Antonio Church Was built on the site of where the saint was born in 1195. On June 13, now his feast day, he died at the Poor Clare convent in Arcella at the young age of 36. His body was buried in a chapel, which is now enclosed by the Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua. In 1263, when his relics were transferred to the Basilica, his tongue was found to be still fresh and red in color. Belem Tower Built in 1515 as a fortress to guard the entrance to Lisbon s harbor, the Belem Tower was the starting point for many of the voyages of discovery, and for the sailors it was the last sight of their homeland. Gothic Monastery of St Jeronimo It is the most impressive symbol of Portugal's power and wealth during the Age of Discovery. King Manuel I built it in 1502, where Vasco da Gama and his crew spent their last night in Portugal in prayer before leaving for India. It was built to commemorate Vasco Da Gama's voyage and to give thanks to the Virgin Mary for its success.vasco da Gama's tomb was placed inside by the entrance.
