The meeting was pened in prayer by Pastr Dennis. Signature f Attendance Sheet was passed arund fr signage by attendees. (see Appendix A) Mtin was made by Spencer DePy and secnded by Laura Gutzwiller fr the apprval f minutes frm the August 12, 2014 Ad Cuncil meeting and it was passed. Ministry Perspective Pastr Dennis Paytn shared the current list f members fr all the wrk areas fr 2015 as presented by the Lay Leadership Reprt. Pastr Dennis s dream is that, Everyne Wins One and t make disciples in 2015. The Lay Leadership reprt was presented and mtin made by Pastr Dennis secnded by Spencer DePy t accept the rster fr the leadership in ministry and administrative areas fr 2015. Charge Cnference will be Nvember 20 at Mt. Auburn. Everyne is encuraged t attend. (see Appendix B) Assistant Pastr Ben Bezy read Jhn 15:1-6 fr his reprt. By being fruitful we bring glry t Gd. We must be cnnected t the true vine. There are tw missin pprtunities in Nvember & December: everyne is welcme t carl in December at Meadw Lakes and an utreach pprtunity t serve a meal at Wheeler Missin in Nvember and December. Lay Leader Sue Klinger has a grup praying fr ur Stewardship Campaign. She is asking all peple t pray at nn that the campaign will be successful and praying fr a revival in ur church. Sue expressed thanks t Rebecca Bezy fr rganizing a trip t the Wmen f Faith cnference that was held September 2014. Administrative Reprts Trustees Dave Stinsn was nt in attendance. Bill Byd will be the new representataive next year fr the Trustees. Church Histrian Wendall Thaler nt in attendance. Staff Parish Relatins Greg Lng was nt here. Pastr Dennis reprted that the 2015 salaries fr the emplyees and pastrs have been set at the same level as in 2014. Lay Leadership Dennis Paytn Finance Signe Nichlsn reprted and explained the handut she had prepared fr her reprt (see Appendix C). If the trend fr the year cntinues thrugh 2014, we will be $25,000 less fr meeting the budget. The incme is slightly declining while the expenses cntinue t slightly exceed ur incme. The 2014 budget was passed ut. Signe presented the 2014 budget. Cathy mtined and Sue secnded t apprve and it was passed. (see Appendix D). Treasurer Bill Yeager was absent, but his Treasurer s Reprt was passed ut. Cmmunicatins Laura Gutzwiller reprted that the egiving campaign was presented in a variety f ways t ur cngregatin. Scial media and web site stats were presented. (see Appendix F) Technlgy Dave Burt was absent. N reprt was given. Membership/ Attendance Kim Vedder reprted that 16 new members jined representing seven families. Ministry & Missins Reprts Wrship Cmmittee Becky Underwd was absent/n reprt. Prayer Cmmittee Cathy Msier reprted that there are 67 peple n the email prayer chain, 20 peple n the private email prayer chain, and apprximately 20 peple sending cards with an average f 5 peple sending cards weekly. Cathy is encuraging peple t read the Bible daily nt a devtinal, but the Bible. Missins Claire Farrand was present. Shelly Wilsn will be the new Missin Chairpersn fr 2015. The Church in Missin Banquet will be Nvember 1, with tickets available. Christmas is a busy seasn fr missins. The Missins grup will be increasing their mnetarily supprt t Jasn and Rachel Shre in 2015. Children s Educatin Lydia Rychtarczyk was absent but submitted a reprt. (see Appendix H) Yuth Prgram Bryan Vickery reprted that they just returned frm the Yuth Fall Retreat. Kim Vedder designed the sweatshirts fr the retreat. Michael Cper is beginning t help with Sunday Schl. Student leadership is being emphasized with a gal that the Sunday night prgram will be led by the yuth. The fall and winter service prjects include Operatin Christmas Child (OCC) and Operatin Drp Turkey Drp. Yuth are still pulling frm the designated funds t pay fr their resurces. Adult Educatin Ruth Brwn was absent/n reprt. Family Ministries Kim Webster was absent but submitted a reprt. (see Appendix I) Health & Welfare Cheryl Hward was absent, but Pastr Ben reprted abut the Healing Oils wrkshp cming up Nvember 8.
