Shakshuka is a dish of eggs poached in a sauce of spicy tomatoes, traditionally served with Challah to mop up the sauce. In its present form it is of Egyptian and Moroccan origin, and is now popular among many ethnic groups of the Middle-East. In Israel it is popular on breakfast and dinner menus, especially in winter. Come cook Shakshuka hands-on with me! I promise it will be finger-licking good. RSVP to (219) 301-0960

January 2017 Illiana News 11 K Ton Ton Exciting things are happening at K Ton Ton! Registration is now open for the 2017-2018 school year! We have programs for toddlers, two, three, four and five year olds. We are thrilled to introduce our Playgroup program for next year. Children, and parents or caregivers, are invited to spend Monday mornings playing, dancing, singing, cooking, and sharing with us! Children should be walking through four years old to participate. Our Pre-Kindergarten program will also have a new look next year as our biggest kids will be here until 1:00! Registration is also ongoing for Camp K Ton Ton. Camp is six weeks of fun in the sun for our incoming three year olds (those who are two turning three), and our current three and four year olds. Please call Erin at (219)301-096 1 or email erin@federationonline.org for more information.
