Farewell year and learn from the expiry of the days Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessings be upon His Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions. Amen. O Servants of Allah, Allah says (And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude), Surat Al-Furqān 25-62. Means: Night and day succeed each other, If this gone the other came, and if that came this is gone, alternating never failing. And with the succession of night and day, our lives and age are decreasing and we are approaching the day of Almighty ALLAH, we are in these days bid farewell to Hijri year and welcoming a new year, thanks to Allah, and our duty at this important event is as follows: First, self-accountability for what we have done. Second, resolve to start with a stronger faith in what is coming. Self-accounting, comes by viewing the conditions of the heart, the tongue, and every part of you. Also, stand over the consent of their follow to Islam. To account your past you had to review words and deeds to find out the profit and loss The Lucky is who take over the years and days in worship, and made from the passage of nights a motivation to consideration of Allah the creator and a source of soul exhortation. This is clearly showed by Abo Eldardaa words narrated by Alhassan Albasry {Oh son of Adam, you are only few days, if one day is gone, some of you is gone} directed by Al-Bayhaqi. Viewed also by words of predecessors {How do rejoice over the years, where his day destroy his month, his month destroy his year, and his year destroy his life?! How be happy of life which led him to death? }
And Allah says; (Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do.") Surat Al-Jumu`ah 62-8 All the past may recover, and every loss can be offset except the past time and age, It is lake of deeds and proximity to death. Al-Bayhaqi and others narrated from the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him saying: A wise person is one who keeps a watch over his bodily desires and passions, and checks himself from that which is harmful and strives for that which will benefit him after death. And a foolish person is one who subordinates himself to his cravings and desires and expects from Allah the fulfillment of his futile desires. After death, you are asked about your life in what was spent, your youth how was gone, your money from where was earned? Halal or Haram? And where was spent? In good ways or in mess. And your knowledge what have you done with it? How much benefit from the knowledge of someone led to all the best, How much is knowledge was scourge of his owner and evidence against him. The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said (seize five before five; your youth before your elder, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your business, and your life before your death, No Admonishes after life and no home but heavens or hell) narrated by Alhakem. All messenger s companions look after their Self-accountability and always were prepared for the judging day. Omar Ibn Alkhattab, may Allah pleased him, said (Judge yourself before be judged, and weight your deeds before be weighted, and be prepared for Doomsday, that day where nothing in your life can be hidden) Recalling the words of God Almighty (That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed.) Surat Al-Ĥāqqah 69-18.
Omar Ibn Alkhattab, may Allah pleased him, write to his workers Account yourself at prosperity before distress, as who do returned to his satisfaction and joy, and who is distracted by his desires and life returned to his regret and loss Self-accounting, is necessary for the benefit of any Muslim in our life and after life because Self-accounting, shows the Muslim pros and cons, so he can strength the goodness and treat his disadvantages, and ask forgiveness for his sins. There are two types of self-accounting 1. Self-accounting at needs and concern, Al Hassan, Allah s merci be on him, said May Allah mercy a slave stood at the main concern If to Allah he went, though If to other he delayed. 2. Self-accounting after work, is it done as required? Did he only seek Allah? So he win, or did he seek life and immediate earn? So, he loses the profit and misses to win his after-life. Benefits of Self-accounting 1. See his soul defects, when he knows the soul defects he will hate its desires for the sake of Allah 2. Know his duty toward Allah, regardless the worship he have done can never fulfill the right of Allah of thanks and praise. Hadith Jabir ibn Abdullah, Rassul Allah said, There is a group of angels created that from the moment of their creation until the day of judgment who are praying, there is another group from their creation until the day of judgment who are bowing, and there is another group from their creation until the day of judgment are prostrating to Allah. And upon the day of judgement, these angels will look towards Allah and say, Glory to Allah, we did not worship him his due. these are the angles so what about us! Accordingly, Self-accounting inherited Muslim loathing himself, and contempt and rid him of wonder and view his work, and opens the door to his submission and humility in
the hands of his Lord, it is the Allah s right to be obeyed not disobeyed, and to be always recalled not forget, and to be thanked not disbelieve. Nowadays, we are in a need to account ourselves, wherearound us are many great desires, many temptations, and a variety of distractions. The point is we need courage and firmness to account ourselves before it is too late. This world is the arena of work, and tomorrow recompense (And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward]) Surat An-Najm 53-31. so account yourself before (Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers.") Surat Az-Zumar 39-56. Account yourself on the five daily prayers, are you satisfied on them? Prayer is the foundation of Islam. What about your zakat, your syam, your haj. Account yourself and ask it, are you satisfied, do you ask about your parents? Did you raise your kids adequatly, stand for your husbands and wives rights? Oh brothers and sisters, remedy your deficiencies and shortcomings. Going through the past year and begining a new year, the Muslim starts to think about himself. How he spent the year? Muslims have lost much of their wealth in 1432, as the separation of south Sudan, Occupation which is still in Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan, besides the chaos that pervaded the rest of the Arab countries. Brothers and Sisters, welcoming a new year is a considerable issue, where it seems in the eyes of some of the distracted ones easy with long hope and negligence of benefit of worshiping, although in the stages of life and the vagaries of age and tragedies of time comes suddenly. So judge yourself before taken by surprise. And remember,
When a person passes away, his soul is extracted; thereafter he enters into the world of Barzakh (i.e. the stage between this world and the hereafter). If a person is pious and righteous, a window will be opened for him in his grave in which he will be able to witness the bounties and blessings of Jannah. He says Lord, hasten the time until Doomsday to return to my family and finance. When the Angels approach an individual in order to extract his soul, their approach differs from person to person. When they approach a Believer, they come in a polite way, whilst the approach the Kufaar in an aggressive way. Dear Muslims, we are about the reception of the day of the Prophet's migration recall, peace be upon him, and highlighting the lessons that were addressed through quraan (If you do not aid the Prophet - Allah has already aided him) Surat At-Tawbah 9-40. And here we mention self-acounting when accounting on immigration. The Prophet Mohmammed, peace upon him, and his companions migrated from their first home looking for a new home due their worries of their religion, and sacrificed with all money and property. Therefore, It is not permissible for a Muslim to emigrate from an Islamic country to a non-islamic country, only for legitimate reason as seeking knowledge or search for security or livelihood, Maintaining his and his family religion, and if he could not he must returned. It is well noticed that many Muslims made the ultimate sacrifice to stay in western countries; and took from their culture what is not related to us. - Sacrifice with their religion and prayers - Sacrifice with their children and families - Women sacrifice with their shame and satisfied being mix - Many women sacrifice with their hijab
- Many women sacrifice with the stability of their families and their interst was toward their look outside. - Many sacrifice with marrying muslim women and satisfied with looking to what Allah forbidden. - Many sacrificed with Arabic language and satisfied with learning other languages. In conclusion Muslim humilate their religion and satisfied with their lives. And that is the main point. Dear beloved in Allah, we are abaout to receive in few days is the almight months of the year the month of Muharram, the month of the greatest of months to Allah, Great stature, an ancient inviolable, and a month is the sanctuary, where the victory of Moses and the believers with him to Pharaoh. Therfore, our prophet, peace be upon him, asked to fast, he said, as narrated by Muslim: (Best of fasting after Ramadan is the month of Muharram), and recommended to fast on the tenth of it and complete the virtue fasting day before or the day after. We ask Allah that we fasts Month of Moharram with security, faith, safety and Islam, and victory and empowerment for all muslims around the world. [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds and blessings of Allaah be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and peace
