PARISH NURSE: Parish Nurse hours are Mondays from 3-4:30 PM. You often hear of Irritable Bowel Syndrome IBS. What is this? People who have IBS have digestive tracts that react abnormally to certain substances or to stress. This leads to symptoms like cramps, gas, bloating, pain, constipation and diarrhea. Sometimes called spastic colon, IBS is a common condition. Managing symptoms is the goal. Two of the most important lifestyle changes to decrease symptoms are changing your diet and managing stress and anxiety. Flu Season is upon us. Due to this we will not be sharing peace by handshaking during this time. Please share God s peace with a smile and genuine love, or an elbow bump. We will resume handshaking in April when the flu has lessened. Thank you for doing your part to decrease the spread of the flu and also keep members with compromised immune systems safe. God s Peace and Smiles to all. MEALS-ON-WHEELS Volunteers are needed to deliver January 15-19, 2018.
