CHURCH PICNIC Our Annual Church Picnic will be held Sunday, September 9 ili, at the Whiting Park 'Pavilion starting with a Divine Service at 11 a.m. Bring yourselves and a side dish. Chicken, pop and tableware will be provided. A signup sheet will be available in the future for those interested in attending. G SUNDAY " SCHOOL " ~~.. ~'-:.~~ SUNDAY SCHOOL WILL RESUME ON SEPTEMBER 16 TH oblat KY Oblatky making will be on Saturday, October zo», from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday, October 22 nd, Tuesday, October 23 rd, and Thursday, October 25th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 27 ili, if necessary. There will be signup sheets on the bulletin board in the 'Fellowship Hall the beginning of September. We will need a minimum of 6 men for each day to work on the irons. If we don't have the 6 men minimum signed up by October 1 st, we will not be making Oblatky this year. NOTE: Payment of the Oblatky will be taken at the time you pick them up. See John Sabol or Marge Maicher if you have questions. IN MEMORIAM It has pleased our LORD to call to Himself in heaven the soul of Irene Michalic on June 7, 2018. Her funeral was here on June 11, 2018, with interment at Concordia Cemetery in Hammond.

Thank you to the St. J OM ladies for their gift of $500 towards that total! The Pew Sisters have decided to use some of the proceeds towards multipurpose A-frame signs for the use towards any church event, a new Pierogifest sign and shade umbrella for volunteers, and all new trash and recycling bins for the kitchen. They also purchased 2 outdoor trash cans for the front and parking lot to hopefully cut down on outdoor litter. All of your donations and support have made these goals possible!
