Created to Reign Part 2 H. Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth. 1. The way we acquire the blessing in our lives is through words. 2. You will obtain everything you need through speaking His Word. I. There are five steps to the creation process. 1. Hear the Word. 2. Conceive the Word. 3. Believe the Word. 4. Speak the Word. 5. Receive the Word. J. God did not say to think of things that be not, but to call things that be not. 1. Calling things will create your environment. 2. Circumstances will only change when you say something. 3. God rested the 7 th day He had turned the creation process over to man. 4. Earth was supposed to be called Eden, A Spot of His Presence. K. Back to Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth. 1. Be fruitful Literally refers to reproduction. 2. To be legal on the earth, you need an earth-suit (a dirt body). 3. God is Spirit; He created a flesh body (man) to rule through on the earth. 4. The legion of demons in the possessed man of Gadara begged Jesus to let them enter the herd of pigs so they could inhabit a physical body. 2
5. Humans cast out demons; demons never cast out humans. 6. Jesus is the Spirit of Wisdom, but could not enter earth without the suit! 7. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and planted the Seed (the Word). 8. She carried the Word for nine months before the Word carried her. 9. Too many Christians abort the Word that is planted in them. 10. We are the earth-suit that the Holy Spirit inhabits and operates through. 11. Multiply God gave man seed for multiplication purposes. a. When God created woman, she had a womb for seed to grow. b. God wanted more temples so He could expand Eden. 12. Subdue God would not tell Adam to subdue unless there was something he would need to subdue. 13. That something was Satan. L. Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. 1. Scientists can t deny divine intelligence was involved in the creation. 2. Was = mistranslated (actual Hebrew-Chaldean word meant became. ) 3. God does not create anything that is without form. 4. The earth became without form and void. 5. Between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2, there were two forms of life that existed. 6. Dinosaurs are discussed in the Book of Job, the oldest Book of the Bible. 7. Angels (spirit-beings): Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer. 8. Lucifer, who wanted to be like God, led a rebellion with 1/3 of the angels. 9. Lucifer fell to the earth like lightning. 3
10. Lucifer and the fallen angels (spirit-beings) are now walking the earth. 11. At the moment Lucifer fell, God turned away from the earth. 12. The light on the earth during the dinosaur age was God Himself. 13. Since God turned away, the absence of His light caused the Ice Age. 14. The earth was basically a big ball of ice without form and void. (Vs 2) 15. The Holy Spirit hovered over the face of the frozen waters. 16. God turned back to the earth (Vs 3), saying Let there be light. 17. Since God is light, He was essentially saying, Me, Be! M. Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth put forth [tender] vegetation: plants yielding seed and fruit trees yielding fruit whose seed is in itself, each according to its kind, upon the earth. And it was so. 1. The earth has been commanded by God to produce a harvest. 2. As long as the seed is planted, earth has no choice but to cause growth. 3. God will not violate His Word; therefore, Jesus had to come in the flesh. N. Genesis 2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted). O. 29 And God said, See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. 1. God needed seed in order to accomplish the creation. (Vs 29) 2. Man also needs seed to create. 3. The principle is to sow the seed, then eat the fruit. 4. You cannot eat the seed and then expect the fruit to come. 5. The mandate was to fill the earth and rule it! 6. You get blessed when you obey. 4
7. Because Adam did not obey, he lost his dominion. 8. God removed Adam from the Garden when he disobeyed. 9. The Holy Spirit could no longer live in a contaminated vessel. 10. The glory of God would have killed Adam, the sinner. 11. In order to save Adam, God had to expel him from the Garden. 12. Blood has in it life; the blood of animals provided a temporary solution. 13. Only pure sinless blood could cleanse mankind. 14. The male passes on the contaminated bloodline to his children. 15. All of us ended up inheriting that sin-nature. 16. Jesus was the only man to ever fulfill the law. 17. Only the blood of Jesus could restore what was lost. 18. Jesus told the disciples He would not leave them comfortless, but would send another Comforter. (John 14:16) a. Another = allos (Greek) = identical b. The identical to Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit. c. The Holy Spirit is Jesus twin brother. d. Comfortless = lost, desolate, bereaved. e. A Christian without the Holy Spirit is a car without a driver. f. The Holy Spirit will guide you to plant seed and expand Eden! g. God will provide the seed, but you have to plant it. 5
