Taizé Night Prayer FRIDAY Nov. 14, 2014-7:30 p.m. In the busyness of our work-a-day lives, we all need a place and a space where we can be still and know the presence and the peace of God. In a world that is filled with noise it is good to have a place where quiet is respected and conversation is not required. Come and Pray With Us in the stillness of a candlelit hour. Very important volunteer opportunity St. Luke s is looking for someone to take the position of voluntary bookkeeper. This is an essential position enabling us to function efficiently week to week. Some experience in bookkeeping would be an asset, though Shirley Stafford, who is currently doing the job, is willing to work alongside the new person and help until they feel completely at ease. There will also be help for when the new person needs to be away. Because of its importance, this position will also include the payment of a modest honorarium. If you are interested please contact the Church office and speak with Canon Stuart Pike. GOT YOUR COPY OF EDIBLE OFFERINGS YET? Copies of our great new cookbook are available at coffee hour. Please make your payment in cash to ease accounting. Cheques can be made payable either to Judith Brodie or Rosalind Reycraft. Thank you again for sharing your recipes. We hope you re enjoying trying them out! Judith 905 634-5483 Ros 905 635-3976 Sharing a lovingly prepared meal with family & friends is one of the great joys of life. TO ANY AND ALL KIDS!
