A good person out of the store of goodness in his heart produces good, but an evil person out of a store of evil produces evil; for from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks." - Lk 6:43, 45 We pray for the repose of the soul of Gayle Price. May she and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen Lenten Observances Both Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. We easily and forcefully criticize and condemn others for their faults while willfully remaining blind to our own. Broadcast media gives us daily training in doing this and we readily participate through social media. Make the season of Lent a season to cultivate the virtues of patience and compassion towards others and humble honesty for ourselves. Pray more. Criticize and post less. PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS May God bless and protect our parish sons and daughters serving in the armed forces of the United States.
