Jesus wants us to be a of his!!! - It is with mixed emotions that the Staff Relations Team brings the following announcement: After 17 years of employment at Maurice Reformed Church, Jan Budden has given her notice of retirement as Assistant Secretary. Due to life circumstances and prayerful consideration she feels it is time to resign from her responsibilities and devote her time to more personal endeavors. Her notice is effective April 13, 2018. Please affirm and support Jan and Ken as they move into this next step in their journey. ATTENTION finely-dressed church goers The 9th and 10th grade Sunday school class is currently completing a Max Lucado study titled Made to Make a Difference. It has challenged us to make a difference - no matter how big or small - in the world we live in today. We would like to make an impact locally by offering popcorn between services on Sunday, April 29th. We will ask for donations. All of the donations will go toward the Sack Pack program in Orange City. Then we are going to take it one step further by partnering with all of senior high to pack the sack packs on Wednesday, May 2nd. We are so excited about our project and thank you in advance for your donations and support.
Why I am NOT joining a Life Group! Excuse #3: I have kids. Lots of them. Nobody will want me in their group because I bring a circus with me wherever I go. Church Family Prayer Prayer Concerns: We praise God as Bryan Van Gelder finished his chemo treatments this past week! We pray that God will continue to bring him healing and strength. We continue to lift up the elderly members of our congregation. We are blessed by them, and we just pray that they may find strength and be renewed by God. And we continue to remember Elvera Van Horssen, Pam De Haan, Gloria Wierda, and Val Dykstra in our prayers.
