We had a really great turnout at this week s meeting maybe it was because everyone was feeling refreshed after a three-day weekend or maybe it was because Nick Verina was handling Fellowship this

Motto Above Self 4-Way Test Of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendship? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Avenues of Club Vocational Community International Youth month. Whatever the reason, it was wonderful to see so many people in the audience. Fellowship was magical as you would expect with Nick performing a trick with the assistance of Chris Shape, Julia Wetstein, Dave Jenkins and Barry Dunaway. While they all did great, I wouldn t advise any of them to give up their day jobs. Can t wait to see what Nick has in store for us next week. Our guests this week were Deb Burn and Dominic Marwari who have applied for membership; Terry Louk from MDVEC; Mack and Zach Zitney from Jerky XP; and Bell Scholarship recipients Emma Mitchell and Richard Pasco. Rotarians with Makeups: One Makeup: Campolito, Shape, Matheson, Levy, Brown, Oblinger, Iannucci, Pal, Straniak, Royster, Collins, Bednar and Verina. Two Makeups: Bollas. Three Makeups: Wetstein. Quaker Steak & Lube Bike Night Chris Shape reported that a good time was had by all at the first Bike Night fund raiser at QS&L on Elm Road on May 27 th. Not surprisingly, they ran out of beer! He also said that we should net $390 on beer sales and another $125 from the 50/50 Raffle. The funds will go to our Foundation to help replace Rose Sale revenues. The next event is on June 17 th.see Chris if you can help out that evening. Second Annual Warren Streetscape The Second Annual Streetscape in Warren will be held on June 16 th and again on September 17 (before the Warren Homecoming). More information will be shared soon. Rotarians are urged to get involved. Every Rotarian, Every Year - The Annual Fund is the primary source of funding for the programs of The Foundation. In order for us to continue doing so much good in the world, it is necessary for Every Rotarian to participate in the program and to support our Foundation Every Year. We ask that all Warren Rotarians give annually to the Every Rotarian, Every Year Campaign. Donations can be made in one lump sum of $100, $10 per month (September through June), or $50 two times a year added on to your dues payment. Checks, cash and credit cards are accepted.
