Join us for prayer in Preparation for Christmas. Reception follows the service Thank You for a Successful Food Drive We Fed 45 Families This was the first year that we connected Sheil families with registered families through the St.Vincent DePaul Society. Eleven Sheil families participated and personally purchased and delivered Thanksgiving dinners to their assigned families. Collected non-perishables and food cards were distributed among an additional 15 Evanston families and 19 families from the Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation. Thank you to all of the students who helped sort and deliver. And a special thank you to Marina Porter for organizing this year's food drive and mitten tree.
Rides for Students Christmas Break Each year, the Sheil community supports our students by offering rides to the airports for Christmas break. We are looking for associates to drive to O Hare and Midway prior to break, approximately December 4th through Dec 10th. This is a great way to make a connection with a student and help him/her get to the airport safely and on time. To volunteer as a driver or to request a ride, please contact Carol Finnegan at carolafinnegan@comcast.net or (847) 975-9983. Students, please relay the following information: Full Name Airport information (ORD or MDW) Flight Date Flight time Name Cell Number Email Address Note if you are traveling internationally This is intended to be a Sheil-to-Sheil program for the purpose of making connections between associates and students, not a campus-wide service.
