Reconnect with the Church Easter Egg Hunt after the 10am Mass Milk for our Mission Canisters Our Lady of Angels CAPUCHIN Franciscan HAPPY EASTER! Happy Easter! Or as most other languages prefer: Blessed Pasch Passover! Pasqua, Pascua, Páscoa, Pâques! Israel s Passover through the Red Sea to the Promised Land! Jesus Passover through the Cross to resurrection! Our catechumens Passover last night, and ours once upon a time, through Baptism s waters to our family s Eucharist! Welcome, everybody! As someone once said of the Catholic Church, Here comes everybody! So in this Jubilee of Mercy, we make our own Saint John Chrysostom s Easter welcome from fourteen hundred years ago: Let everyone enjoy this radiant feast! You who fasted from Lent s beginning, and you who didn t fast at all, rejoice! The table s richly set! Come, take from it, everybody, no worries, no embarrassment! All of you, taste the banquet of faith! Enjoy the feast of forgiveness! Let no one grieve for having sinned again and again: pardon has risen from the tomb! Happy Easter! Blessed Pasch! Welcome, everybody! OLAburlingame OLA_Capuchin When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4 ola_burlingame www.ola.community

PRAYER EASTER BLESSINGS! My brother Capuchins and our staff join me in wishing you a very joyful and blessed Easter. We pray that, through His Resurrection, Christ may continue to grow more fully in your heart. Our joyful congratulations to our new members of Our Lady of Angels Catholic community. What a wonderful witness of hope and vitality for our parish! We extend a sincere thanks to Johna Maychrowitz for her work in the Catechumenate. A special THANK YOU to all who have made the Holy Week Services, from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, such an inspiring experience. Beginning on Monday, April 22, Mass will again be offered at 6:30 am instead of 6:25 am. We will no longer have a 5:30 pm Mass. We were very happy to see so many parishioners and friends attending Mass during Lent. Keep it up! - Fr. Michael REVIVE YOUR CATHOLIC FAITH Been away from church for awhile or don't feel as connected as you want to be? Our Lady of Angels has a special program just for you called LANDINGS. Join a lively, ten week, discussion-based program. There s no judgment and all are welcome. We begin on Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 pm. If you or someone you know is interested, contact us at landings@olaparish.org. Now in its third year, this popular program promises to be a rewarding and impactful experience. RCIA Rejoice and be glad, Christ is risen, Alleluia! Congratulations to our neophyte (newly initiated Catholic). During the 2019 Easter Vigil Mass, our parishioners welcomed one new member to our OLA family. Kent entered the Church and received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Gina and Andrew received the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is just the beginning of their new life in Jesus. If you see them wearing their Confirmation stoles during the Easter season, be sure to congratulate and welcome them. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they use this season, through Pentecost, to discern their work and role in our parish life. May they be filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and spread the Good News of Jesus. FORMED SUBSCRIPTION Enjoy your FREE subscription to FORMED!
