Second Collection for Catholic Home Missions. Catholic Home Missions Appeal Divine Mercy Sunday This Sunday, April 19th, is Divine Mercy Sunday! We will have Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction at 3:00 pm. Those who would like to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, please come by 2:30 pm. Early Notice The Ladies Guild will sponsor a parish-wide dinner on May 3rd after 10:30 am Mass. Plates will hold barbecue, beans, slaw, & bread. Dessert & drinks will also be served. $5 per plate with $20 max for immediate family. Proceeds will be used against the projected shortfall in the school budget and/or for debt reduction! Remaining CCD Schedule We will soon be ending our CCD classes for this instructional year. The remaining sessions are as follows: April 19 & 26 May 3, 10, & 17 (the 12th is Mother s Day) This should fulfill the number of sessions recommended by the diocese. On Sunday, April 26th we will have a Second Collection for Catholic Home Missions. This collection is for the purpose of mission churches which struggle with priest shortages, poverty among parishioners, difficult or isolated locations, religious hostility, and other circumstances which impact the parish s ability to practice the Catholic faith. Our School s Yard Sale Grades 1 & 2 will sponsor a yard sale on Saturday, May 23. Please price your items. Clean, gently used clothing is acceptable. Items may be dropped off at the school starting on April 20th!
