WAT Juniors Welcome to the WAT Juniors Newsletter! We are Auchengray Primary. In this newsletter there are recipes we have chosen from a book we made up a few years ago. We have also put together some information about clubs in the area. We worked with WAT IF? and interviewed some people at Tarbrax Community Café and then we wrote about it. In this newsletter we have included two of our bits of writing too.

These are some clubs in the area!

Rebel! Rebel! My name is Mr Roberson. I m called Jack Baillie. I was born at Forth. Well I was born at Falla Farm it is beautiful. I went to Auchengray Primary school. Same but I still go. I now live at Easter House Farm. I now live at Calla Doone. My best friend was Alec Dick. My friends are Beau, Thomas, James, Logan, Allana, Robert, Annabel, Robyn and Gaby. My main teacher was Miss Elder. My main teacher is Mrs Wright. I didn t get in to trouble that much. Same here. I didn t ever annoy a teacher. I annoyed a teacher when Rangers football club beat St. Johnston football club 5-1. The worst thing I ever did in school was when I made a slide out of snow against the wall. When I said I hated a teacher. The worst thing I ever did out of school was me and my friend used to go to Tarbrax at night and tie two door knobs together with a rope and then we knock on the doors and ran because the people could not open their door. Me and my friend James came up with a marvellous plan when we were on our bikes and Allana went in to her house to speak to her mum so we made the tyres go flat and then Allana came back so we said we had to go home. No my mum did not ever get me grounded. Same here. After school I used to milk cows and do my homework. I play on my iphone and I play football. Me and my friends were rebels some of the time. Some of them are definitely rebels and some are not rebels. No I didn t play tricks on the teacher. Same here I think but I would ask my teacher.

Rebel! Rebel! I am named Allana Black. My name is Mrs. Robertson. I was born at Wishaw General. Well I was born at Braehead Farm. I have never moved house. I moved down the road from Braehead Farm to Whitesites Farm, then to Stow. I go to Auchengray Primary school. When I moved to Stow I went to school there. My teacher is named Mrs. Wright. My teacher was called Mrs. Brunefield. I seem to get into trouble all the time, usually for talking too much in class. I never really got into trouble at school. I have always done my work in the end, not usually on time or correctly but it does get finished. Never refused either. I never refused to do my work either. I think I annoy my teacher very often, not on purpose but I just think I can be an annoying person without thinking about it. The most annoying thing that I have ever done is to hide the teachers pens and stuff. Me and my friends have always planned pranks and tricks on our teachers but we have never done them before. We used to play little jokes on our teachers such as hiding the whiteboard dusters and Mrs. Brunefield s special pens. The worst thing I have probably ever done in school is, well, I didn t like my lunch so I just sat there and looked at it while all the teachers were encouraging me to try it. But I just sat there all through lunch break until they let me go. The worst thing I have ever done was when I blotted my pen on one of the good books. There was ink everywhere, it was an accident but I did get in trouble afterwards. Our punishment at our school is when we have green, red and orange, there is also the Wood. When we have been talking to much we go to the Wood. If we don t learn from that then we go to orange, then as you have probably guessed you go to red after that. If you were to injure or swear at school, it is straight to red. I have been on an orange and on the Wood Our punishment at school was either the belt or 100 lines. I never got the belt but I did have to write out 100 lines once or twice. My best friend is probably Annabel because well, we are like the same person! We like all the same things and are good at all the same things. She only lives across the road so we see each other often. We fantasize about things we would love to have, the main thing we would both love is a horse each. My best friend was Margaret Hohart, she went to the other school. The worst thing I ever did out of school was probably when me and Annabel were in the field behind her house. Our neighbour says that we are not allowed in the field that she owns but me and Annabel used to sneak in there with our bikes and play for hours on end until it got too dark or too cold. The worst thing I ever did out of school was when I threw I ball and it hit someone in the nose. I have never ever been grounded before, have you ever been grounded? No, I was never grounded I am busy six days a week with panto club, swimming, cub scouts and pony club. I never did any clubs but at one point I did join the girls gildry which is similar to the girl guides. My friends are definitely rebels. I think I am too. My friends were not rebels neither was I.

We hope to see you all there!
