Palm Sunday Luncheon The Holy Trinity Philoptochos invites you to its annual Palm Sunday Luncheon TODAY, Sunday, April 21 after Divine Liturgy. If you do not have reservations, the Adult Fish Dinner is $20.00 and Children's Menu ages 5-11 is $6.00. Children under 5 eat free. Proceeds to benefit Hellenic College / Holy Cross School of Theology. Philoptochos Tsoureki (Pascha Bread) and Phyllo Sale Pickup is Sunday, April 21. The Bookstore is open each Sunday following the Divine Services. Altar Boys & Narthex Servers All Altar Boys and Narthex Servers can serve in their respective positions during all weekday Divine Services of the Great Lent and Holy Week. So, if a Divine Service is offered Monday through Saturday from now through and including Saturday morning, April 27, all Altar Boys and Narthex Servers are welcomed to serve with two exceptions. On Holy Friday evening, April 26, only those Altar Boys and Narthex Servers who are present and vested by 7:05pm can serve. For the Resurrection Service, April 27, only those Altar Boys and Narthex Servers who are present and vested by 10:05pm may serve. Also, for Easter Sunday Agape Service, all Altar Boys and Narthex Servers are welcomed to serve. Stewardship 2019 Everyone who has not yet c o m p l e t e d a 2 0 1 9 Stewardship Commitment Card is encouraged to do so. Holy Friday Youth Retreat Plan to attend this year s Holy Friday Retreat on April 26. There will be programs for preschool-12th grade students. Sign up sheets may be found in the Education Wing. Holy Saturday Morning Pre-Anastasi Liturgy Church School 1st 6th graders will sing hymns on Holy Saturday morning, April 27, during the Pre-Anastasi Divine Liturgy beginning at 9:30 am. They will sit in the front reserved pews on the right to sing, ring bells and catch bay leaves during this joyous service. They have been rehearsing with their Hymnology Teacher and invite the congregation to participate in the singing. Please plan to attend. Volunteers Needed Volunteers are needed to wrap eggs on Holy Thursday, April 23 beginning at 12am. Please come and participate! Agape Vespers Readers Needed Volunteers are needed to read the Gospel in French, German, Latin, & Russian at the Easter Sunday Agape Vespers Service on April 28 at noon. Volunteers will be assigned on a first come, first served basis and must be at least 16 years old. If you would like to participate, please contact the Parish Office at 317-733-3033 or Sandy@holytrinityindy.org. Blessing of the Meat & Cheese The blessing of the meat and cheese during the Resurrection Service is a tradition by some Orthodox. For those who will bring these to place on the table near the Solea, please approach a Parish Council member for assistance. The blessing prayer is offered at the end of the Divine Liturgy Welcome Let s give a Holy Trinity welcome to our new Office Administrator, Mrs. Adonna Bacon. Parish Day of Service On Saturday, May 11 from 9am - 12pm, all Parishioners are invited to participate in a day of serving God and helping others. A variety of projects will be offered for men, women and children of all ages. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Projects will include the Soup Kitchen and feeding the poor. All donated paper products, toiletries and soup cans will be greatly appreciated. We also need volunteers to help clean the Church after Easter services and assistance planting flowers in pots.
