Weekly Reflection Titus 2: 11-13a and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly, while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. As you read this passage, it might be helpful to imagine or pose the following: how would my life be different if I lived a self-controlled, upright and godly life as I wait for the blessed hope and manifestation of God s glory? Try the exercise and see where it takes you. Let us pray: Holy One, I give you thanks for the dedication and testimony of our brother Titus, whose faith in Jesus became an integral part of his daily life, a living testimony of your love and grace. Create in me a clean and pure heart that my life may also be a model of good works, pure doctrine and sound speech.
