Minister of Children & Youth Ministries Steve Spire Director of Music David Tate Director/Accompanist for Contemporary Service Saul Rodriguez Accompanist Phil Roberts Administrative Assistant Anne Bowman New Horizons are Dawning Look to the dawn For that s the beginning; It s not only sunshine or always winning. For love, care and dedication Make the brightness flow - But it also takes the rain you see to make a rainbow glow. And from that gleam of color Produced by sad and glad, Comes the lasting memory Of good times that we had. But it s from the frowns and downs we learn Which paths to take or not And what we do with these mistakes Is the gold within our pot. And if and when we reach the end of a day drawing nigh, We are thankful for that glorious blend that we may richly treasurethe horizons of the sky.

We hope that you have heard Hope Chapel has now been granted Project Status! We are trying to let the community of Verona, VA know that we are here for them in their new or re-newed Christian walk. Our Big Weekend is going to consist of two days where we will have guest speakers from around the area and as far north as Maryland, as well as different types of Christian music. Along with food, games, and lots of children s activities. The reason we are telling all of you this is because we would like to offer everyone that walks in a chance to win a Basket of Hope. This is where you and your congregation come in to support us. The Basket of Hope would be donated by your congregation. Below is more information on what we would like the Basket of Hope to contain. The baskets can be as small or as large as you all decide, or multiple smaller baskets. Basket of Hope contents: (Remember these are only suggestions, feel free to create!) Bible(s) - any version, we suggest no KJV s, if the people are new to God s word New Christian Music CD s - any genre of Christian music Devotional Books Cross necklaces or trinkets Gift Cards to the Christian Book Store, or Food Lion (grocery store in Verona) Remember that whatever you place in your basket should be centered on a person learning God s Word or helping that person or family to walk closer with God. We ask that you place an index size card in your basket that says This Basket of Hope was donated by the Congregation of...insert your Churches name here. If your congregation would rather donate a monetary amount of your choice, we will build the basket for you all and add a card with your name in the basket. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Jon at 540-294-1306 or Tella at 540-448-1453. We would love to have an opportunity to share with your congregation during your Sunday service about Hope Chapel, the Big Weekend, and the Basket of Hope.
