Local Aeries and Auxiliaries have now chosen their Officers for the 2013/2014 term. I wish them a successful and fun year ahead. Thank you so much to our Redwood City Brothers and Sisters for hosting our meetings in May. The Memorial Service held was a beautiful tribute to members of our District who have passed away. They will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Thank you to everyone who brought a dish to share, we had a beautiful array of homemade goodies. Past State Officer Tom Gardner, a dear friend to many of us, could no longer fight off his illness. Our deepest sympathy to his wife Kelly and his mother Barbara. You are in our prayers. Please consider running for Office in our Sires and Arabellas group. If you are a Past President of either the Aerie or Auxiliary and in good standing, you qualify to be a member. Nominations are held in Aromas on June 9, 2013 at 11:30 AM. State Convention is held in Bakersfield, on June 26-30, 2013. Please stress the importance of attending, to all your members in your Aeries and Auxiliaries. There is so much information shared, that you might not otherwise learn of. Please, send at least one, if not more, Representatives so they can report back with the latest news related to the betterment of our Fraternal Organization. Until next time, take care of yourselves Fraternally and in Friendship, Lone Austin Chairman, District 3 Lone Austin
