Faith, hope and love are gifts of God. May you find them here. Large print bulletins are available and children s bulletins are available on the table in the Narthex. A nursery is available for infants up to 5 years of age.

Those who are able are invited to stand. PRELUDE More About Jesus Lani Smith LIFE OF THE CONGREGATION Moment of silence to prepare your hearts for worship SONG OF DEVOTION (hymnal & screen) (please remain seated) #542 My Life Is In You, Lord LET US WORSHIP GOD TOGETHER CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 34:1-3, 9) Leader: I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. People: I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Leader: Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His Name together. People: Fear the Lord, you His holy people, for those who fear Him lack nothing. INVOCATION Leader: Almighty God, You have called us saints by Your grace. As Your holy people, we would honor and worship You with our lives. Sanctify us with Your Spirit and drive all that is evil from us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen SONGS OF PRAISE (hymnal & screen) How Deep the Father's Love for Us #9 Glorify Thy Name CALL TO CONFESSION (II Corinthians 5:16-20) Leader: So from now on, we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore, Christ s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Let us be reconciled to God through the confession of our sin and the placing of our faith in Christ. Please join me in silent prayer. SILENT PRAYER PRAYER OF CONFESSION Unison: Gracious God, remove from us the sin that separates us from You and make us holy. Enable our wills to choose what is good and right in Your site and empower us to do it. We would no longer live in bondage to our sinful nature but be free to glorify You with our lives, and live like Jesus. In Jesus name we pray. Amen ASSURANCE OF PARDON (I Peter 2:9-10) Leader: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. Sisters and brothers in Christ, believe the good news: you are forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles Creed Unison: I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
