HADLEY-LUZERNE BACKPACK PROGRAM Hadley Luzerne School has asked for our help to supplement their backpack program by dona ng nonperishable food items. They have a need greater than they can meet. There will be a box that will be placed in the lobby of the Parish Center near the office and in the front entrance of the church. This will be an ongoing project. Please support this worthwhile project. It is one more way that we are missionaries INCLEMENT WEATHER Just a reminder, if school is canceled, there will be no morning Mass. If school is delayed, there will be a Mass CHRISTMAS MASS SCHEDULE Masses for Christmas will be at 4pm and 6pm on 12/24, Christmas Eve and 10am on 12/25 Christmas Day. There will be Children s Liturgy at the 4pm Mass. CHRISTMAS FLOWERS Dona ons for Christmas flowers are now being accepted. Envelopes should be put in the collec on baskets, and marked clearly with Christmas Flowers with your name and the name of the person/ persons you would like remembered. Envelopes supplied by the church will be placed in the pews. Thank you. The Environment Commi ee FUNDRAISER FOR KIM LESCAULT A Christmas themed fundraiser will be held for Kimberly Lescault at the Holy Mother and Child Parish center in Corinth, NY on December 22nd at 2pm 6pm. Dinner is $10 per person. Children under 12 are free with a paying adult. Menu is Zi, Macaroni and Cheese, salad, dessert and drink of choice. Eat In or Take Out. There will be basket raffles, 50/50, Bake Sale, Bucket of Cheer (You must be 21 yrs of age or older to win). Santa is trying to take me from the North Pole to join along with some of his friends. All proceeds will go to Kim s family. Any ques ons or if you would like to donate a basket, please contact Carley Gurtler at 518-338-4340. COFFEE HOUR The Bethany Guild will be having a coffee hour on December 30th a er the 9am Mass. They will be presen ng a scholarship check at this me. Come and join us for refreshments and fellowship. THANKSGIVING GRATITUDE Hear elt thanks go out to the many people who generously supported the Thanksgiving Basket effort this year. Our collec ons of $650.00 provided 26 families with Thanksgiving Dinner. In total, the Community of Churches of Lake Luzerne were able to provide 100 families with dinner this Thanksgiving. This year we were blessed to have students from the High School help deliver our baskets. Many thanks to all. COMMUNITY OF CHURCHES The Community of Churches is looking for volunteers to sing in the community choir. Please contact jjasonproctor@gmail.com for further info. HOLY DAY, JANUARY 1st January 1st is the Celebra on of the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.
