ABOUT THE COVER: God created the earth for mankind s use. Yet, mankind has not always used God s creation as intended. We have taken advantage of God s gifts, going so far as misusing them. As tenants of God s vineyard, we owe God for all we have. But how has God been repaid? He sent His Son, and they threw Him out of the vineyard and killed Him. By His death, we are saved! Thanks be to God for His Son, our Savior!

FROM THE STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE: Luke 20:16 He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others. When they heard this, they said, Surely not! The crowds were shocked at Jesus' parable because they took the grace of God for granted. They never thought that God would actually take the vineyard away from them. But we only have access to God by faith. And we can drive faith and the Holy Spirit away. That is the warning of the parable. The Lord has graciously given us His Kingdom let us not take it for granted, but instead respond with humble thanksgiving! ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH of Good Thunder is having their Annual All You Can Eat Pancake Supper TODAY, March 13 from 4:30 7:00 pm. We will be serving

WELCOME TO OUR SAVIOR S LUTHERAN CHURCH! We are Christians gathered around the unchanging Word and Gifts of Jesus Christ which give forgiveness and salvation now and forever. Our Savior has more than enough blessings for everyone and promises that He will turn no one away. Please let us know who you are and how we can serve you by completing a registration card found in the seat backs and placing it in the offering plate. HOLY COMMUNION: Jesus knew He would soon be crucified! He chose His words with great care. As we receive His gift today, give ear to His words, for they are sure and certain! As we receive His gift, we also give ear to the concern for confessional oneness which the Bible sets forth for those communing together. Those who understand the meaning of communion and wish to receive it today are asked to review the statement on the back of the registration card. LARGE-PRINT copies of today s worship service are available in the narthex. Ask an usher.
