April 21, 2019 Easter Sunday We rejoice in the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior! We celebrate that the Eternal Father has raised His crucified Son to a new life and glory. He has given us hope that if we cling to the living Body of Christ through faith and carry His Cross in our lives then we too shall rise to a new life and glory. Easter Blessings from Father Russell and all the lay staff of our parish. May this 50-day season of Easter Joy be for you and your family a time to be reborn in the life and love of our God. May you experience the joy and peace of the Risen Christ! Please pray for those preparing to receive the Risen Christ in First Communion and for those preparing to receive the Holy Spirit in Confirmation. Our prayers are with you that your minds and hearts may be opened to the Lord. We congratulate all who observed Lent with such devotion and faithfulness. May the 40 days of Lenten Penance lead all of us to 50 days of the Easter Season of Joy! Is there someone you know: in your family, a neighbor or friend, whom you can encourage to come home? Someone may be waiting for the invitation to come and find peace. The Lord needs YOU to extend the invitation. The Offertory Collection for the weekend 4/7 was $6,848.00 and the on-line collection was $2,705.00 for a total of $9,553.00. Thank You!
