United Methodist Church of Antioch Palm Sunday April 14, 2019 8:00 and 10:30 am GATHERING The mission of the United Methodist Church of Antioch is to grow in faith; to worship God following the teachings of Jesus Christ, and to be instruments of God s love through the Holy Spirit as we reach out to our community and the world. THE LORD S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Isaiah 43:18 I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. New every day is your love Almighty God, bringing us life and hope for the future. We pray that your Holy Spirit would remove the barriers, break down the walls, and heal any divisions that would keep us from loving and serving as Jesus taught us. Reawaken our senses, open our imaginations, and increase our understanding so that we might use our gifts freely and wisely for the common good of all and to advance the gospel of grace in our church and community.
