If you do, we would love to have you join our fantastic group of greeters! We nee more volunteers in order to have more than two greeters on each Sunday. If you would be interested in serving as a greeter, a substitute greeter, or would just like more information, please contact Jill Swihart at 288-6829 Creation Event ~ Brian Young will be at Redeemer on September 21! ~ Two presentations (4:30 to 5:30 and 6:00 to 7:00 pm) WHY CREATION IS IMPORTANT: Brian Young believes evolution is a clear answer to why the moral fabric of our society is unraveling. He will share that evolution is the main cause of abortion, homosexuality, divorce and compromise among the church. Brian will argue that evolution strips away the foundation of Christianity by making the death of Christ a meaningless event. Logically, if evolution is true, Christ is not who He says He is. Come and listen to his thoughts. SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCES OF A YOUNG EARTH Explore topics such as carbon dating, tree rings, ice cores, population statistics, astronomy, erosion and more to see how all of them support an earth that could not possibly be millions and billions of years old. Shows how the Bible isn t against science but rather science gives credible support for it (also adding in some stuff that proves man wasn't primitive 1000s of years ago).

NURSES HEALTH TIP - The Appeal of a Peel When you remove the peel or skin from fruits and vegetables, you lose a lot of nutrition, since it s a concentrated source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and potentially beneficial phytochemicals. Some appealing facts: The pigments in produce are healthful, and the skins or peels are often the most colorful part. Apple peels seem to have an anti-cancer effect. Lab research has found that whole apples have a much greater effect on cancer cells than peeled ones, probably because of antioxidants in the skin. Ounce for ounce, potato skin has far more fiber, iron, potassium, and B vitamins than the flesh. It s also rich in antioxidants. The only reason to avoid the skin is if the potato has a greenish tinge. - from University of California, Berkeley Wellness Letter BLOOD PRESSURES on Saturday evening, September 20 Blood pressures are taken the 3rd Saturday before and after the 5:30 pm worship service.
