WELCOME, FRIEND! Nothing, absolutely nothing, is more powerful than God s Word. For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective] (Hebrews 4:12 AMP). God says His Word is like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test] and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock [of most stubborn resistance] (Jeremiah 23:29 AMP). God s Word, empowered by His Spirit, coming out of your mouth is alive and full of power! Believe it or not, your mouth is a weapon. God says that death and life are in the power of your tongue (see Proverbs 18:21). He wants you to use your mouth to speak life. He specifically says, He who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully (Jeremiah 23:28 AMP). When you speak the Word, lifegiving energy is released. Speaking His Word turns your mouth into a flamethrower and a sledgehammer in the invisible realm of the spirit. It burns up the enemy s lies and breaks into pieces the stubborn rocks of resistance in your thinking. In this case, it crushes fear. I AM/I WILL Live Free from Fear is a specialized collection of 52 scriptures and declarations designed to help you defeat fear. Each I AM and I WILL statement has been created directly from the passage. We encourage you to mentally chew on one passage a week (or whatever works best for you). Meditate on what God is saying and commit it to memory. At the same time, speak the declarations out loud over your life, over your situations, and against the enemy. Lastly, pause and ponder what God is personally revealing to you and write it down. As you seek God with your whole heart, He will speak to you. He ll show you things about yourself and about Himself that you ve never seen before. These revelations are priceless, so take time to write them. Remember, God created the world with His words (see Genesis 1). Likewise, we create our world with our words. When we consistently speak His Word out loud in faith, incredible things begin to happen. While we may not see results immediately, things will change in us and our situations. Why? Because God s Word is alive and full of power! Death and life are in the power of your tongue! And God is alert and active watching over His Word to perform it (see Jeremiah 1:12). Are you ready? Let s pray:
Father, I come to You in Jesus name. I know it s not Your will for me to live in fear of any kind. Please forgive me for giving place to fear in my life. And forgive me of any area where I have disobeyed You or sinned that would hinder me from drawing closer to You and experiencing freedom. (Repent of any specific things God s Holy Spirit brings to mind.) I also ask You to forgive me for holding onto unforgiveness or bitterness toward anyone. (Be still and listen. Are there any names or faces the Holy Spirit is showing you? If there is anyone who has offended you, take time now to forgive them, release them to God, and bless them. If you don t feel like doing it, ask God to help you want to want to do it. This will clear the connection between you and Him and allow His healing and freedom to flow.) Thank You, Father, for forgiving me and helping me forgive others. Please help me to obey You and get my mind and mouth in line with Yours! Help me begin to speak Your Word out loud over my life, my situations, and against the enemy. Saturate me with Your Spirit and Your Word, and break the power of fear in my life. about the authors Vincent Newfield is an author, minister, and seasoned wordsmith of over 20 years.
