Page 8 UMW and UMM Annual Church Picnic This year our Annual Church Picnic was on a Sunday afternoon after the worship service. We celebrated the Confirmation of Sean Deaner and Natalie Vitak. Our dear Lord provided us with a beautiful day to enjoy this celebration with delicious food and relaxation with wonderful fellowship. The UMW & UMM wishes to thank everyone who made this a great event. A special thanks goes out to our chefs, the bakers who donated cakes and Berg s Nursery for the gracious donation of the flowers for bingo and door prizes. A big thanks to the volunteers who came out Saturday morning to cleaned and set up the tabernacle on and those who stayed after the picnic to cleanup. Fun was enjoyed by all and those who could not be with us were truly missed. Ladies Night Out Food Fun Friends Fellowship Our Next Ladies Night Out will be NOT be until Tuesday, August 15, 2017 due to a conflict with VBS. The meal will be served family style in an Amish home located just a little north of Rising Sun. The cost is $15 per person. Finalized plans will come in the August newsletter.

Page 10 When you think of riding the subway, laughter and joy aren t the first words that spring to mind. It s a cramped place full of grumpy people either coming home from a bad day at work or are just generally upset. Yet if you re fortunate enough, sometimes you can find happiness in a subway train. One such magical moment was captured when a Belgian advertising agency working for Coco-Cola hired an actor to randomly start laughing on the train. With the tagline Happiness starts with a smile their new ad aims to bring a bit of joy to everyone s day. Just watch and we dare you not to let out a small giggle, too!
