Good Morning & Welcome

Hymn: More Voices 4 All Who Are Thirsty

All Who Are Thirsty All who are thirsty, All who are weak, Come to the fountain. Dip your heart in the stream of life. Let the pain and the sorrow Be washed away in the waves of his mercy

As deep cries out to deep. We sing... Come, Lord Jesus, come. Come, Lord Jesus, come. Come, Lord Jesus, come. Come, Lord Jesus, come.

All who are thirsty, All who are weak, Come to the fountain.

Holy Spirit come. Holy Spirit come. Holy Spirit come. Holy Spirit come. As deep cries come.

Voice 1: Creator of calm, Voice 2: Even with our uneasiness and fear People: We approach you.

Voice 1: Promise of forgiveness, Voice 2: Even though we are aware of our shortcomings, People: We come before you.

Voice 1: Giver of hope, Voice 2: Even though we lack confidence for the journey, People: We approach you.

Voice 1: Source of compassion, Voice 2: Even though we lack your healing spirit, People: We come before you. All: Let us worship God.

Hymn: VU 442 Wash Us, God, Your Sons and Daughters

Wash Us, God, Your Sons and Daughters Wash us, God, your sons and daughters, Newborn creatures of your womb. Number us among your people, Raised like Christ from death and tomb.

Weave us garments bright and sparkling; Compass us with love and light. Fill, anoint us, send your Spirit, Holy dove and heart s delight.

Every day we need your nurture; By your milk may we be fed. Now we join your feast, partaking Cup of blessing, living bread.

Give us new life; guide our footsteps; Free from sin and all its snares, One with Christ in living, dying, By your Spirit, children, heirs.

O how deep your holy wisdom! Unimagined, all your ways! To your name be glory, honour! With our lives we worship, praise!

We your people stand before you, Water-washed and Spirit born. By your grace, our lives we offer, Recreate us; God, transform!

Hymn: VU 577 I ve Got Peace Like a River

I ve Got Peace Like a River I ve got peace like a river, I ve got peace like a river, I ve got peace like a river in-a my soul. I ve got peace like a river, I ve got peace like a river, I ve got peace like a river in-a my soul.

I ve got joy like a fountain, I ve got joy like a fountain, I ve got joy like a fountain in-a my soul. I ve got joy like a fountain, I ve got joy like a fountain, I ve got joy like a fountain in-a my soul.

I ve got love like an ocean, I ve got love like an ocean, I ve got love like an ocean in-a my soul. I ve got love like an ocean, I ve got love like an ocean, I ve got love like an ocean in-a my soul.

And When You Call for Me (sung refrain throughout prayer) And when you call for me, I have already answered. And when you call for me, I am already there.

2 Kings 5:1-14

Invitation to the Table

Bread of Life More Voices 194

Bread of Life Bread of life, feed my soul, As the presence of the spirit makes me whole. Bread of life, fill my heart With the grace and mercy you impart.

I have heard your voice calling, Come, my friend, and share In the feast that is laid out for you To show how much I care.

Bread of life, help me live A life as pure and true as Jesus did. Bread of life, help me see The boundless love of Christ for you and me.

I have heard your voice calling, Come, my friend, and share In the feast that is laid out for you To show how much I care.

Bread of life, feed my soul, As the presence of the spirit makes me whole. Bread of life, fill my heart With the grace and mercy you impart.

Leader: May God be with us. People: God is here among us. Leader: Let us open our hearts to God People: We open them to God and one another.

Leader: Let us give thanks to God. People: It is right to give our thanks and praise.

Leader: Holy God of wind and fire, your Spirit renews the face of the earth and warms the hearts of your people. We give you thanks for your gifts of Pentecostal power: tongues that utter prophetic words of truth and justice; flames that kindle new visions of compassion and peace; fresh breezes that blow down the walls which separate us from you and one another. And so it is that we join with every voice and tongue on earth and in the heavens to give you praise:

Sung: Holy, holy, holy are you, God of power and might; Heaven and earth are filled with your glory. Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is the one who comes in your name. Hosanna in the highest, hosanna in the highest!

Leader: On the night before he died, Jesus took bread, and after giving thanks to God, he broke it, and gave it to those who sat with him saying: Take, eat. This is my body, given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. In the same way he took the cup saying: This cup is the new covenant sealed in my blood, shed for you for the forgiveness of sins.

Whenever you drink it, do this in remembrance of me. Loving God, we rejoice in the gift of your grace, remembering Christ s life and death, proclaiming his resurrection, waiting in hope for his coming again. Grant that in praise and thanksgiving, we may so offer ourselves to you that our lives may proclaim the mystery of faith:

Sung: (VU933) Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come, come again.

Sharing the Bread and Cup

All: For the bread we have eaten, for the wine we have tasted, for the life we have received, we thank you God. Grant that what we have done and have been given here, may so put its mark on us, that it may remain always in our hearts and minds.

Grant that we may grow in Christian love and understanding, and that ours may be lives of faithful action, in Christ s name. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins

As we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial And deliver us from evil For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, Now and forever.
