2 Welcome to Holy Apostles Church and parish a thriving, vibrant community in Pimlico. We hope you ll join us and bring your own unique gifts and experience. Lay people of all ages and nationalities, married and single, with children and without, play a prominent part, as you will see from our welcome section. So, whatever you do, wherever you are from, whatever your walk of life has been, we invite you to share worship and fellowship with us. Enjoy a real sense of belonging to a community, right in the heart of London. A wide variety of people attend our community s lively Family Mass on Sundays at 10:30am. If you want a more reflective experience, the Saturday evening 6pm Mass is on more traditional lines, with organ music, established hymns and incense. The 9am Sunday Mass is quieter still, with just a few hymns. We are a warm and active community. There are many different projects, groups, and activities welcoming all from the youngest to the oldest. Fr Pat encourages and expects lay people to take their full responsibility in the parish. There is plenty for you to do if you want to; or you may prefer just to join the community for Sunday Mass, or sit and meditate and pray. Just choose how you want to fit in. Please come and see for yourself!

At Westminster Cathedral he was part of the liturgical team and Cantor. 7 Giving Holy Apostles is a generous parish, which enables us to undertake a lot of commitments in the local parish community, the wider community and in our sister parish in Kenya. You can help support us with a regular offertory donation. The best way to give a regular donation is to make a standing order from your bank account. This allows us to plan more efficiently to meet the needs of the parish as we know how much funding is coming in. It also reduces the amount of paperwork we need to do (including opening and counting the amount in each envelope). If you choose to put money in the collection plate at weekly mass, you could use an offertory envelope (available from the Priest s house). These also provide us with a regular income. Gift Aid If you are a taxpayer, we can claim an additional 25p as Gift Aid from the taxman for every pound you give us. We can collect Gift Aid from donations that come via standing order or offertory envelope. You will find Gift Aid and Bankers Order forms on the next page.
