Scripture Reading Isaiah 63:7-14 7 - I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. 8 - For He said, Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie. So He became their Savior. 9 - In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old. 10 - But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them. 11 - Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying: Where is He who brought them up out of the sea With the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them, 12 - Who led them by the right hand of Moses, With His glorious arm, Dividing the water before them To make for Himself an everlasting name, 13 - Who led them through the deep, As a horse in the wilderness, That they might not stumble? 14 - As a beast goes down into the valley, And the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest, So You lead Your people, To make Yourself a glorious name. Assurance of Pardon Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 7

Hymns For Communion Jesus Paid it All I hear the Savior say, Thy strength indeed is small, Child of weakness, watch and pray; Find in me Thine all in all. Jesus paid it all; all to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow. For nothing good have I whereby Thy grace to claim; I ll wash my garments white In the blood of Calvary s Lamb. Jesus paid it all; all to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow. Alas! And Did My Savior Bleed Alas! And did my Savior bleed And did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I? Was it for crimes that I had done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity! Grace unknown! And love beyond degree! But drops of grieve can ne er repay The debt of love I owe; Here, Lord, I give myself away, Tis all that I can do. 9

HOW TO JOIN GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH Grace Baptist Church is an independent, Bible-believing church proclaiming the central message of the Scriptures: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day (I Cor. 15:3,4). Salvation comes not through our good works, but through faith in the finished work of Christ. We eagerly welcome all to join with us in worshiping our risen Lord! It is our conviction that every believer should seek out a doctrinally sound church, join it, and find a place of ministry to help fulfill the Great Commission. Membership in Grace Baptist Church has two pre-requisites: salvation and baptism. The Bible teaches that a person is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ s death on the cross. The first step of obedience after salvation is baptism by immersion. There are three ways to join Grace Baptist Church: (1) by letter; (2) by statement; or (3) as a candidate for baptism. You can join by letter if you are saved and have been scripturally baptized under the direction of a church of like faith. You do not have to bring your letter with you; we will write your church. If your membership records have been lost or some other difficulty is present, you can join by statement. Finally, you can join by baptism. This would be the case if you are saved but have not yet been baptized, if you were baptized before you were saved, or if you were baptized in a church with a doctrinal position significantly different from that of Grace Baptist Church. The easiest way to get the ball rolling is to take our membership class or schedule an interview with a member of the council of elders. During this meeting, we will: * discuss and verify your salvation testimony * discuss and verify your baptism * review our doctrinal statement, church covenant, and membership expectations with you * learn from you how we can assist you in your spiritual growth May the Lord direct you in this important decision! Please feel free to call the church office at any time for more information. 16
