FAITH TALK Matthew 5:1 12: Beatitudes Here are some ways to nurture faith at home based on this week s story. With preschool children, also use ideas from the For families section on the Early Childhood leaflet. 1) Say or read the Beatitudes together (Matthew 5:3 12). Tell each other which is your favorite beatitude and why. 2) Do an image search online to see the Church of the Beatitudes, which overlooks the Sea of Galilee in Israel. 3) Work together to write one more beatitude. Who else is blessed? Did you know? The Beatitudes are part of Jesus Sermon on the Mount. How many verses are in this long sermon?
