Spiritual Gifts Indicator Inst: To what extent is the statement true? "0" = Not at all, "1" = Little, "2" = Some, "3" = Much 1 I have a desire to use God's word to edify, exhort or comfort others. 2 I enjoy publically expounding Biblical truths to others. People have told me that I have communicated timely and urgent messages that 3 must have come directly from the Lord. I sometimes have a strong sense of where to look in the scriptures in response 4 to particular questions or situations. I frequently feel that I can point to the scriptures that explain what God directs 5 us to do in our consecrations at a specific point in time. Total for A I have enjoyed ministering to a certain group of people over a long period of 6 time, sharing personally in their successes and their failures. I have enjoyed assuming the responsibility for the spiritual well-being of a 7 particular group of brethren. 8 I feel unafraid of offering spiritual guidance and direction to others. I have helped brethren by guiding them to relevant portions of the Bible and 9 praying with them. People with needs have told me that I have helped them to be restored to the 10 Christian community. Total for B 11 I have helped people learn biblical truths in meaningful ways. I feel I can explain the New Testament teaching about the health and ministry of 12 the Body of Christ in a relevant way. I can devote considerable time to learning new Biblical truths in order to 13 communicate them to others. I feel I can communicate significant truths to others and see resulting changes in 14 knowledge, attitudes, values or conduct. 15 Studying the Bible and sharing insights with others is very satisfying for me. Total for C 16 I have applied spiritual truth effectively to critical situations in my own life. 17 I can intuitively arrive at solutions to fairly complicated problems. When other people have a problem, I can frequently guide them to the best 18 Biblical solution. Some people indicate that I have perceived biblical truths and have applied them 19 to the specific needs of fellow believers. I have felt confident in God's overruling power to assist me when I have made 20 important decisions. Total for D Spiritual Gifts Indicator Version: 6/5/16 Page 1

Others have told me that I have helped them to discern key and important facts 21 of Scripture. I have had insights relating to spiritual truth that others have said helped bring 22 them closer to God. Through study or experience I have discerned major strategies or techniques 23 that God seems to use in furthering His Harvest Message. 24 I study and read quite a bit in order to learn new Biblical Truths. I have the ability to discover God's truths both in study and by watching current 25 events. Total for E 26 I verbally encourage and help the wavering, the troubled or discouraged. 27 I can effectively motivate people to get busy and do what they should do. People come to me in their afflictions or suffering because they know that I will 28 listen to them and understand. 29 I have a desire to effectively counsel those in need. 30 I have helped others find a Biblical solution to their affliction or suffering. Total for F 31 I find I manage money well in order to give liberally to the Lord's work. 32 I contribute considerably more than 10% of my income to the Lord's work. When I am moved by an appeal to give to God's work, I usually can find the 33 money I need to help. I am so confident that God will meet my financial needs that I do not hesitate to 34 give to His work sacrificially and consistently. I have been willing to maintain a lower standard of living in order to contribute 35 to God's work. Total for G 36 I have assisted Christian leaders to relieve them from concentrating on their essential job. 37 I am good at helping others become more effective in their ministries. I have enjoyed doing routine tasks that have allowed more effective ministry on 38 the part of others. 39 When I do things behind the scenes and others are helped, I am joyful. 40 I truthfully don't care if someone else gets the credit for what I do. Total for H Spiritual Gifts Indicator Version: 6/5/16 Page 2

I have a desire to work with those who have physical or mental problems in 41 order to alleviate their suffering. 42 I have offered to care for others when they have had material or physical needs. 43 I enjoy visiting brethren in hospitals and retirement homes. 44 People call on me to help those who are less fortunate. 45 I enjoy spending time with a lonely, shut-in person or with someone in prison. Total for I 46 I feel comfortable relating to people of other cultures, and they accept me. I feel I could learn another language well in order to minister to those in a 47 different culture. People of a different race or culture have been attracted to me, and we have 48 related well. I would be willing to leave comfortable surroundings if it would enable me to 49 share the Lord with less-fortunate people. More than most, I have had a strong desire to see peoples of other countries 50 learn the Harvest Message and come to the Lord. Total for J 51 I have led others to a decision of consecration to the High Calling I have shared joyfully how the Lord has brought me to Himself in a way that is 52 meaningful to non-christians. Non-Christians have noted that they feel comfortable when they are around me, 53 and that I have a positive effect on them toward developing a faith in Jesus. 54 I get frustrated when I miss opportunities to share my faith with non-christians. I am attracted to non-christians mainly because of my desire to help them find 55 the Lord and His Truth. Total for K 56 My home is always open to the brethren who need a place to stay. 57 I enjoy organizing class functions or class social events. 58 When people come to our home, they indicate that they "feel at home" with us. 59 Others have mentioned to me that I am a very hospitable person. 60 I desire to make my home available to those in the Lord's service when needed. Total for L Spiritual Gifts Indicator Version: 6/5/16 Page 3

61 When in a group, I am the one to whom others look to for vision and direction. 62 I have believed God for the impossible and seen it happen in a tangible way. Other people have told me that I demonstrated the faith to accomplish what 63 seemed impossible to them. There have been times when I have felt sure I knew God's specific will for the 64 future growth of His work, even when others have not been so sure. Others have told me that I am a person of unusual confidence in the Lord and I 65 happen to agree. Total for M 66 When I speak, people seem to listen to me and agree. 67 Other brethren have followed my leadership because they trusted me. 68 When I set goals, others seem to accept them readily. 69 When I am part of a group, others seem to back off and expect me to lead. 70 When I am in charge, things seem to run smoothly. Total for N 71 When a group that I am in lacks organization, I love to step-in to fill the gap. I enjoy handling the details of organizing ideas, people, resources and time for 72 more effective ministry. I have been able to make effective and efficient plans for accomplishing the 73 goals of a group. I am able to give directions to others without using persuasion to get them to 74 accomplish a certain task. I have enjoyed bearing the responsibility for the success of a particular task 75 within my class or in the workplace. Total for O 76 I could live more comfortably, but I choose not to. 77 Living a simple lifestyle is an exciting challenge for me. 78 I am not poor, but I can warmly identify with poor people. 79 Others tell me that I sacrifice too much materially in order to fulfill God's will. 80 Poor people accept me easily because I choose to live on their level. Total for P 81 I am single and I enjoy it. 82 I feel more indifferent about not being married than most. 83 I am glad I have more time to serve the Lord because I am single. 84 I am single and have little difficulty being single. 85 I readily identify with Paul's desire for others to be single as he was. Total for Q Spiritual Gifts Indicator Version: 6/5/16 Page 4

Total for R 91 I enjoy being called on to do odd jobs around the brethren. I don't have many special skills, but I volunteer to do what needs to be done 92 around the Class. 93 Others have mentioned that I seem to enjoy routine tasks and do them well. I prefer being active and doing something rather than just sitting around talking 94 or reading or listening to a speaker. 95 I respond cheerfully when asked to do a job, even if the job seems small. Total for S 96 I have an ability to know how to bring others closer to God in worship. 97 I intuitively know what should happen next in worship services. 98 I normally know the study subject that would be beneficial to a group. 99 Others have told me that my worship helps them enter into the presence of God. 100 I have a compelling desire to lead others into an experience with God.
