Please give generously to our Easter Lily Flower fund. Envelopes may be placed in our offertory collection baskets during all weekend masses. St. Peter s is participating in Rice Bowl, a project of Catholic Relief Services. Please consider fulfilling the Lenten call for almsgiving. Rice Bowls will be collected this Sunday and the Sunday after Easter. Parishioners are cordially invited to attend the Chrism Mass to be held on Monday, April 15 th at 6 PM in Richmond at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. For those who wish to join by carpool, we will be departing from St. Peters at 1 PM. Date to Remember: On May 19 th, the Miracle of Healing service returns to St. Peter s. Due to our Holy Week celebrations, there will be no Bingo Wednesday, April 17 th.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Where there is life, there is hope. The 2019 Walk for Life to Support the Accomack/Northampton Pregnancy Center will be held on May 4, 2019 at Onley Baptism Church beginning at. Participants are asked to be there by 8:30 am. We are hoping to have a team of walkers representing St. Peters. Announcements (cntd) The Knights of Columbus have available the Paul & Barbara Braunstein Scholarship/Grant monies for the Youth of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church that plan to attend college in the fall. If your parents are registered here at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, and you have an interest in applying for the Scholarship/Grant monies, applications are available in the Church Office. Applications must be submitted to the Church Office by May 24, 2019. The Msgr. Mickel Council of the Knights of Columbus, Cape Charles, will present a Scholarship Award of $1,000 for college to a deserving Catholic High School Senior. Applicants must be residents of the Eastern Shore and confirmed members of St. Charles, St. Peters or St. Andrews Catholic Churches. Applications are due April 30, 2019. To receive an application, pass by St. Peter s Church Office. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus have a scholarship available for a 2018 senior graduate. To apply for this scholarship, forms are available in the Church Office. Application must be submitted by May 12, 2019.
