I want to say THANK YOU! to each and every member for your hard work and effort this past year. Our December pancake breakfast was a great success and we were able to help several families in need for the holidays. If it weren t for you, those families may not have had Christmas presents or a good meal for their kids. So again, thank you for all you do! We have a great year ahead of us in 2017. Our next fundraiser will be the Easter pancake breakfast and the proceeds will go to purchase playground equipment for the younger students at Appleseed Christian Academy. The school is very excited and grateful to be our partner and recipient for this next fundraiser. My hope is that 2017 sees our club have a significant increase in membership. As members, we must do our part and tell folks about our club and what we do to help the kids of our community. It should come easy for us to invite others to come and be a part of Kiwanis! More hands and feet in service means more children that we can reach with dollars and service projects. I m confident that people will want to become involved in what we do if we will get the word out and talk about it more. Let s make a commitment to become more vocal about Kiwanis this year. Let s use every available outlet and opportunity we have to promote Branson Tri-Lakes Kiwanis to our community. It s for the kids! I m thankful for you all and grateful to be able to serve in 2017 with such an awesome team. Danny Trash Pickup On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, our club picked up the trash along Branson Hills Parkway, our adopted street. We were stationed at the IMAX Entertainment Complex where we were sheltered from the weather. We collected $435.76 in our kettle.

Page 4 Pancake Breakfast On Saturday, December 3rd we held our Pancakes with Santa at McFarlain s. We served 130 people and raised around $1,000 to adopt three families including six children.

Page 6 Wrapping Gifts for Adopted Family This year we were able to adopt 6 children from 3 families through Love, INC. We were able to make their Christmas a little brighter thanks to everyone who supported our pancake breakfast. Special thanks to IMAX for giving our check back from the breakfast so we could do even more for these children.
