All my love & blessings, Joyce Here it is the end of May and the FISH FRY has come and gone. Again it was a huge success but only because of all of you. Special thanks to our Queenfish Jo Ann Lee, who worked so hard and make it all come together for a great dinner and fund raiser On Saturday it took 40 people to put it together but it wouldn't have happen unless tickets had been sold. It took the whole church working before, during and after to pull off another successful event. We had so many more families from the community attend this year. The feedback from some of them that I talked with was nothing but good. Excellent food, wonderful staff, can't wait until next year to come back, and some have been coming for years, which is the best it can get for compliments. A good time was had by all. Thank you all you do for our church! The Trustee Committee, John, Bob, Chris, Matt, Bill, Mike, Fred, Helen and Jo Ann

CIRCUIT RIDER--JUNE 2016 Page 3 Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, I just had the privilege, along with our lay member John Murphy, III and at-large member Rich Rose, of spending two days with clergy and lay members of our conference down in Wildwood, NJ. We gathered to worship, to pray, to be in conversation with one another, to review the past year and make plans for the future of our Annual Conference. The theme of the Conference was IMAGINE. Throughout the two days, we were encouraged to dream, to step out of the box and be creative in ministry, to make mistakes at times and yet still be willing to speak boldly the Good News in our congregations, our communities and out into the world. On Sunday evening, we witnessed, as several new pastors were ordained into ministry. After each person was ordained we sang a song entitled, The words are a call not only for our clergy, but also for all of us. Imagine Believing, Receiving, Becoming God s love. Imagine Caring, Sharing God s love in the world. Seeking the way of Jesus Christ. Trusting the courage to change. Being God s love to our neighbors and friends. Several years ago, we imagined what God might have in store for our community of faith. Several of those dreams have come to fruition and for that we give great thanks. Perhaps it's time to dream again to step out of the box and speak God s love in a bold new way. People of God let s imagine together! In Christ s creative and empowering love, Pastor Cyndi Thanks to the 58 Pledges totaling $234,950 over the next three years! We are well on our way, and it is not too late to join this effort!
