CREDO FAITH FORMATION 2018-19 FAITH FORMATION AND SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION REGISTRATION Registration is now in progress for the 2018-19 Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation year. This includes children and teens preparing for the sacraments of First Confession, First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the 2018-19 year. STATIONS OF THE CROSS March 16th at Cathedral, 5:30 pm March 23rd at St. John s, 5:30 pm BULIDINGS & GROUNDS POSITION St. Francis Xavier Cathedral and St. John the Evangelist parish are each seeking a part time Buildings & Grounds custodian. (Depending upon the candidate and circumstances, we may hire one full time person to serve both parishes.) Each person would be responsible for the management and maintenance of one the parish campuses. They would assure the grounds and buildings are in clean and safe conditions. Said persons would consult with the pastor, the Buildings and Grounds Committee and staff on physical plant operations, property maintenance and repairs, and must maintain good communication with the staff and parish members. Use of email and cell phone are essential, along with managing all outside group contracts and forms. Recruiting, encouraging and guiding volunteers for some tasks is also of importance. Minimum 3-5 yrs experience and responsibilities in a maintenance position. Must be familiar with health and life safety regulations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
