WMA Executive Director Fred J. Wynn Asia, the largest continent in the world, is made up of forty-nine countries with a proud heritage of Idolatry. They lavish their gods during elaborate festivals and show them honor with rituals. There, Asian Christians are less than 5% of the religious population, leaving thousands of eternal souls to leave this world having never even heard the name of Jesus Christ. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phil 2:10 Our desire is to be Holy Ghost filled and led by the Spirit as we PREACH Jesus Christ to the nearly 4.5 billion souls that inhabit the continent of Asia, showing the lost that there is only One way to Heaven. For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to Glory of: for necessity is laid upon me, if I preach not the gospel! 1 Corinthians 9:16 WMA Treasurer & Director Chris D. McGuire World Missions to Asia has a heart for preaching and teaching the Word of God to the nearly 95% of Asians who don t know Jesus Christ. Project PREACH prayerfully brings together men who preach Christ s message with a heart for reaching the lost. By working together in unity, we hope to reach a lost, dying world with the most powerful message it has ever seen--the message of Jesus Christ. Join World Missions to Asia in this endeavor both in prayer and through your continued support of what we feel is the leading Of the Holy Ghost for these last days. We are so thankful for men and women with a heart for God s work in this, our appointed time.
Project PREACH is a comprehensive study of the fundamentals of the Word of God. Each theme and lesson is designed to create disciples of men and women, encouraging a stronger commitment to the work of Christ in our world. The mission of Project PREACH is accomplished through the development of lessons taught by preachers of the Word of God. These lessons will be delivered in different cities in the United States during two-day or four-day conferences. Video and Audio recordings of these conferences will be available to all who would like to commit financially to this ministry. All proceeds received will be used to spread Project PREACH across America and the globe. Project PREACH will be shared with pastors and church leaders throughout the world, translated into state and tribal languages, and presented to church members and Christian converts as a way to build or intensify relationships with Christ. His Parables and the Cross The 2015 Focus in the Project PREACH Series World Missions to Asia will continue to conduct PREACH conferences in the nations of Asia, including India, Nepal, Pakistan, Taiwan, and others. A major focus of the work will be in the translation of Project PREACH lessons into the native languages of countries throughout the world. Letcher County Kentucky Partridge, (Letcher County) Kentucky The history of Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church (LCPC) is rich with heritage and the blessings of the wonderful hand of God. In 1949, a group of dedicated Christians established a congregation and began to meet in the Lewis Creek Public School building in Partridge, KY. In 1953, the church established a building nearby. In 1976, as a new railroad was established in that area, the church move across the tracks to a location near its current setting. God wonderfully blessed this new beginning in the church s history with tremendous growth. It became necessary to purchase additional property to construct a larger sanctuary and worship center. The church was opened in 1994, and the classroom and fellowship hall addition in 1995, demonstrating the work God was doing through His people at the Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church. The stewardship of the church includes the leadership of many dedicated pastors such as: the Reverends Bethel Turner, Ben Sweet, Sr., Millard Scott, Melburn Mcknight, and Garland Sergent. Reverend Ron Oplinger, the present pastor, has led the congregation since 1982. LCPC is a church blessed with a rich heritage of more than 65 years and by God's grace a tremendous future. There is a special place for you at LCPC.
Reverend Ron Oplinger and his wife, Mitzi, recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They have held the Pastorate at Lewis Creek for 34 years. Each of the Oplingers have held public jobs during this time. Sister Mitzi worked in the nursing profession until her retirement. Brother Ron was in the transportation profession with CSX Railroad until his retirement. Both of the Oplingers are well acquainted with the surrounding areas of Letcher and Harlan counties. Brother Ron came to Lewis Creek in February 1981 as an Evangelist with a hunger to see souls saved. After preaching 6 months in the area, God gave him a burden to Pastor the church. In that time. many souls have been saved and a new church building was built, as well. Brother Ron and Sister Mitzi are a conservative couple and hold Pentecostal Holiness beliefs. They are also very mission-minded and have supported missions around the world. We are pleased to have them host our conference again in 2015.
