PASTOR S PAGE "Footsteps of Faith: Still Walking" Campaign This campaign is a one year (July 2018 - July 2019) faith journey in order to eliminate the remaining mortgage balance. By eliminating the mortgage, we will be in a far better position to address structural/maintenance needs inside and outside of the church building, while at the same time meeting and expanding our ministry opportunities for the church family and wider community. This is a journey of sacrifice and includes different levels of giving. See pledge cards and envelopes in the entryway. We have entered into our final 4-month phase of the Footsteps of Faith: Still Walking Campaign. God has truly blessed us and as we remain committed to this journey of sacrifice let s also be committed to a spiritual journey of fasting, meditation and prayer every Wednesday, over the next 4 months ending on June 26, 2019. Although some of you may not be able to turn down your physical plates, we can all give up something on Wednesdays (social media, television, sweets, sugary drinks, coffee, etc.) that will allow us to have a more intimate relationship with God. Let s be prayerful as we achieve our goal One Church Working Together. Agnes Nelson Ruth Pearsall Broomall Rehab and Nursing Center 50 N. ANNOUNCEMENTS Greetings from the Health Ministry The Health Ministry has been informed of the health concerns and issues that have been voiced by the membership here at Mount Carmel. We realize that it would be a huge undertaking for just one ministry to do the many projects that have been suggested. The goal of the Health Ministry is to address any Health or Wellness concerns that your ministry may have. Our main function is to collaborate and avoid duplication of projects. We will support your efforts by assisting in finding facilitators, and giving resourceful ideas, etc. if needed. We are asking that a representative from your ministry to contact any Health Ministry member or attend the Health Ministry meetings on the 4 th Saturdays at 11:30 am in the multi-purpose room and bring your proposal in order to have a successful event. Our goal is also to work smarter not harder. To reiterate Pastor Moore s mantra, we are One Church Working Together. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
