thank you to the Commander of LA 9 for the hospitality and efforts once again for the picnic he hosted at his home on Aug 1st. The hot dog truck came as a nice surprise and was well received. Welcome back from a nice hot summer as we become active again in our respective York Rite Bodies. The Council only has 2 more business meetings but both are crucial to attend. The Sept 26thmeeting we will be conferring degrees and the Nov 28th meeting we will be having elections. Both upcoming meetings will be qualification meetings as well. So come and support the new leadership as they endeavor to embark on their next journey in Masonry. Aside from business, we also have our Table Council approaching! The date is Oct 7th (it was previously Oct 14th so please make sure it is correct in your calendars). We will have a Social from 6-7 and begin at 7:00PM. This event is opened to all Select Masters and above. The Cost will $40 and the attire is formal. You must wear a purple accessory (ie necktie, bowtie, cumber bun, etc) otherwise there will be an automatic $10 fee. Bring cash for any "out of order" toasts you wish to make. If you are unfamiliar with what that is, it will be explained the night of the event. There will be a 7 course meal served, all you can drink wine, and a commemorative shot glass for you to keep! If there are any dietary restrictions I need to be aware of, please let me know with your reservation. Please RSVP no later than Oct 3rd. For those of you who's presence and influence extend out of this Council, please spread the word and invite members of other Councils that they may join us as well. Thank you and hope to see many of you there! Eric Bertolli Illustrious Master Omega Council #11 Cryptic Masons
