BUILDING COMMITTEE REPORT This is an exciting time for Trinity as construction activities begin on the Oxmoor campus. Light demolition work has occurred in Wesley Hall to provide our structural engineer with the final information that they need. The construction fencing along Oxmoor Road and Seminole Drive has been approved by the Homewood City Council. Our groundbreaking ceremony took place on Sunday, October 28 and construction activities have commenced. We are submitting all necessary documentation to Iberia Bank to finalize the loan that the church will secure in order to complete the project. The church staff has been making the necessary arrangements to relocate certain Sunday School classes and other ministries in order to provide Brasfield & Gorrie (our contractor) with the access they will need to complete the various phases of the project. Even though these activities are exciting, they can also be disruptive. Our construction theme is LOVE IS PATIENT so we ask for your patience as we work to complete this project. Virtually everyone will be inconvenienced in some way during the next 14 months. We will be working diligently to stay on schedule in order to minimize the disruption as much as possible. Thank You, Mark Limbaugh, Building Committee Chair NOvember 18 confirmation sunday Confirmation Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday morning, November 18 in the Sanctuary. During the Sunday School hour we will bless each student, remembering their baptism or baptizing them and celebrating God s grace that has already been working in their lives. Our confirmands will then have the opportunity to make a public affirmation of faith during the 11:00 AM Traditional service, as we welcome them into the membership of the church. All of our church family is invited to attend either hour and rejoice in the commitments that these 6th graders are making. Each year on Confirmation Retreat, Confirmands make stoles that they will wear on Confirmation Sunday. connect with trinitykids Come find pictures, tips for families and announcements at: Instagram @trinitykidsbham Facebook /trinitykidsbham/ Questions about TrinityKids?
